"Loved the cottage and location! Property was very clean and cozy and had everything we needed for a very relaxing beautiful stay! Not on the water but extremely close walking distance to path to get to the water and beautiful lake! We rented a canoe close by and were able to put the canoe in the lake easily and paddle around the very quiet and peaceful lake and enjoyed the views! "My husband and I were looking for a place to relax. We found it. Great cabin by the River. Swimming, boating, fishing, reading, relaxing. Kim and Mike were wonderful host. I wanted to go white water rafting. Kim recommended Northern Outdoors. We had the best time and would raft with them again. We will definitely stay here again! "

"Beautifully renovated and updated 'classic Maine camp on a lake'.Stayed as part of a group of 5 while doing a 2-day gravel-bike trip. Being able to float in the lake after a long day was awesome. Plenty of space for 5 people, 6 would be fine if someone shared the big bed. "Beautiful property , just the right size for a couple , cozy with a private beach area. If you would have a hard time climbing up ladder to bedroom they have another property next door with a larger and easier accessible bed. The owners live close and were very helpful. we toured with easier access to a larger bed. "

"It was a great location, clean and new inside and out there was just a septic smell that came every evening not sure where from if it was house or neighbors house.Brought the experience down quite a bit."
