It’s not far from Monson General Store, which was a bonus. "Beautiful property , just the right size for a couple , cozy with a private beach area. If you would have a hard time climbing up ladder to bedroom they have another property next door with a larger and easier accessible bed. The owners live close and were very helpful. we toured with easier access to a larger bed. "

My grandchildren had so much fun on the lake with the tubes and Kayaks that we brought along with us. If you want relaxing and fresh air this is the place to go. "The location was beautiful, right on the river and beautiful views. Close to trails for ATV. The Rockwood bar and grill fed us two nights and we enjoyed it! The home was cozy and had the essentials. We enjoyed spending time in the downstairs living room. The house could have had a deeper clean (just lots of cob webs and some bugs around lights) I also wish there was less responsibility on the guests. We had to do laundry and take all of our trash. This left us in a rush and waking up early to...

"The cabin and its surroundings are beautiful. It is one of the best cabins my wife and I have stayed in in Maine. It was very clean and welcoming. Mosquitos, common in the evening in Maine, were abundant at night. The 3rd night there was cool enough to turn off the AC and open the deck doors to listen to the loons calling. Unfortunately, there was a 7-inch gash in the screen preventing us from doing just that. I reported the gash to Brandon who was unaware of the tear. The cabin is only a short...

"We had a lovely stay at this adorable 1920s era cabin right on Sebec Lake. The lake was surprisingly quiet and peaceful for 4th of July weekend! The cabin was clean, well appointed, and had everything needed for a fun weekend getaway! The lake views are stunning! "
