Arrived when the hotel had their opening party, which they kindly had informed us about. Food and drinks for free, whats not to like. The food was amazing so would really chose Thai hotel again. "
"Warm welcome and beautiful room. Ate lunch in the Nelson bar on my own while waiting for partner to arrive and was made to feel comfortable and welcome. Same waiter on the evening - George. He was chatty funny and even sung for us - a fabulous member of staff. The room was beautiful and spa experience was fabulous. We especially enjoyed the live piano music on the evening with a cheeky cocktail or two! Will definitely stay again! "

"Rigtig fint hotel til prisen. Eneste minus er manglende roomservice på et ophold, som varede fra torsdag til søndag. En station fra Victoria station i Manchester "
"A lovely hotel. Very nice staff. However in the room the floor was not washed at there was an old puddle of some pop on the floor. There was was some marks on the pillow but this looked more like wear and tear. It did not bother us enough to contact the staff. The bathroom was large and spacious which was nice and good quality soaps "
"We stayed here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I had booked a superior king bedroom but they had upgraded us to a suite which was so special, there was a card in the room congratulating us on our 16th anniversary. Such lovely touches to make the experience truly memorable. The bed was huge, comfortable and clean. The suite was spacious with a great view of the beautiful city of Chester.
The breakfast was very tasty from the freshly squeezed orange juice to the home baked pastries.

Only slight gripes would be the room, although beautifully furnished, it was on the small side and the check in process was lengthy due to everybody checking in at the same time but as I said these are minor things and wouldn't put us off another stay. "

Everyone was friendly, and the location was great. Room was spacious, had super cool decor and all in all everything was very positive. Big regards to James Sullivan and his whole team as well. Will defintely return, and I highly recommend staying at The Alan :)"
"From the moment we arrived we were greeted by a friendly member of staff. The room was very clean and spacious. The bathroom had a wet room lovely bath and even a TV built in.
In the bar area the bar staff were very attentive and cheerful, such a pleasure, and there was a lovely lounge style area in which you could enjoy your drink and chat. "Brilliantly situated near Manchester Piccadilly Station, and offering a roomy, comfy an full featured room for my one-night stay, I don’t really have no reason to not recommend this hotel to anyone I care about. I wish that it was possible to open a window though. Aircon is body unhealthy and a terrible waste of energy."
