"Lived in the area in the 70's & 80's. Great to be back with nice access to Nauset Light & Coast Guard Beaches. (6) in our group - family & longtime friends. House was fine size-wise but the kitchen was somewhat lacking for food prep. Great outdoor shower ! Good response by Del Mar service / repair for a couple of issues. Thank you !"

"When traveling with other couples we always hope for two bedrooms and two separate bathrooms. This home has two bedrooms and a full bath on the first floor, and another bedroom and family room with a connecting bath in the basement. We both had privacy, which was nice. The home is pleasingly decorated and the kitchen is well stocked. We would like to have enjoyed the lovely yard, but the mosquitoes in Wellfleet are notoriously bad, so we had to dash right inside. "Perfect home for our multi-generation gathering. The layout of the house, with the bedrooms in the back, meant people could be sleeping while others played and cooked gourmet meals. The beach and the backyard were perfect for toddlers. The staff at Del Mar were very helpful when we had questions. We would definitely rent this house again. . "

"Great location and really neat historic property. Spacious yard and nice extras like beach equip, provided linens and basic toiletries. Bathrooms are older 1960s vintage (if you like or don’t like that). Note that the upstairs three bedrooms (two twins and one queen) do not have any air conditioning - just fans. We got a cool week in the mid 70s so it wasn’t too bad for our 8 and 10 year old - but would have been tough if it was much hotter. Also - safety note that the steep stairs going to...

"Great house, comfortable beds, basement smelled a little bit like a summer basement (no surprise) but VERY clean. Beautiful kitchen and comfortable sitting area. Be sure to bring extra towels unless you are paying for the extra towel service (this seems to be happening more on the cape recently, even with expensive rentals). We would ABSOLUTELY stay again. "

"Right next to the beach, which is handy if you plan to walk to the beach and dislike Orleans lack of sidewalks — downside is traffic in front of the property. The property itself is small and very compact. We reserved it for more people than actually ended up coming, so one bathroom and very confined dining space didn’t matter all that muc."

"We’re bikers so this location was very convenient to the trail as well as restaurants, the beaches and shopping. Located very close to Orleans. The outdoor shower was great to rinse off before we stepped into the spotlessly clean cozy house. We would definitely stay again and would bring beach towels. "
