Views for miles

Beautiful views from the dining room let you enjoy the beach even when you are not on the balcony. With elderly parents, this was important to my family. The kitchen was well stocked, and the 4 bedroom layout was perfect for our group. We have stayed in many 4-bedroom condos in North Myrtle Beach, and this is my favorite.

Beach condo

Great view from balcony of the beach. Management fixed problems we reported. Kitchen was fairly well stocked. We stayed during high winds and the patio doors did whistle a bit. Overall goid stay for us.

Worst Vacation Rental

The place was completly junk. There were holes in the ceiling in the living room and the patio furniture was broken and someone ended up getting hurt and had to go to the er. We brought our issues up to the vacation rental place and they just said to throwbthe broken stuff away and that they had a newbone coming but would not fit in the elevator so they had to send it back. The couches were old and broken down and dirty as can be inside of it. We brought that up as well and got told the same story that the new couch would not fit in the elevator. The dryer was broken upon arrival but they did have it fixed next day. and they had washcloths covering vents. The kitchen set was so junky that if an adult sits in them it would break. The security gaurd came knocking on our door at 10 at night to try and tell us that the truck we had would fit in the parking garage bevause he held his arm up to the truck and used it to messure the hight. It was nothing but a hassle. One person tells you one thing and someone else tells you another and we ended up woth violations. The property is a HOA and we was never told that prior to booking or during the booking process. It was told at checkin. I would not reccomend this place to anyone. When yoy try to to talk to the property manager they tell you there is nothing they can do to help. Ifni could give a 0 raiting i would.

Family Beach Vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Crescent Shores! The view from our balcony was beautiful. The space comfortably fit our family and having the option of swimming pools/hot tubs was great, if you want a break from the sandy beach. The kitchen had plenty of utensils and cookware. The furniture is showing some age, but overall, still comfortable. Our family had a wonderful time!

Great stay

The condo could benefit from new couches and a paint job/new carpet but I’m sure the price would go up quite a bit. It was clean and had lots of pots/pans for cooking. We had a great stay!

Great layout, location, property and property manager.

The condo was fantastic. We have already talked about staying in the same unit next summer, except for 2 weeks! Now, as others have mentioned, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen equipped with everything needed, the balcony was amazing…..but the furniture (couches specifically) could use a deep clean or replacement, same as with the carpets. Understand that sand is extremely abrasive, and damaging to carpet and furniture….both could use deep clean or upgrade. Even this did not even need it a dent in the wonderful place, layout and incredible relaxing time we had. We certainly will return.

Summer Break

Nice location! Wonderful view of the beach. Kitchen had everything a cook could possibly need. Condo was clean and great for all my family! Having 3 baths and 4 bedrooms was great! Condo had anything you needed in the storage unit, boogie boards, sand play toys, floats for the pool’. Our children had a hard time deciding what to take! I must say anything, thank you! We didn’t have to purchase any beach toys! The only issue we had was the beds were firmer than we are use too. Facilities - no reflection on condo we stayed iin. The Pools were not heated. Only 1 out of 3 elevator were working, the lazy River was being renovated.! We had a great trip!

We love Crescent Shores

Booking was easy, very accommodating for our party arriving from 4 different states - at different times. The kitchen had the basics- honestly we didn’t cook much but managed…. This property is managed by a property management company and NOT an owner - somewhat confused me as I was looking at VRBO. I called on our second day to report mold in the couch and a refrigerator that wasn’t cooling. They came that day and repaired the refrigerator. The moldy couch was never addressed or used. That master bed/bath was nice The comforters on the the beds are in need of replacement and the remainder of the furniture could use a deep cleaning or replacement It seems that the owner has tried to maintain the property but a fresh coat of paint and a deep cleaning of the entire unit would really update and make the place feel more welcoming.

Perfect Family Vacation

This condo had everything I wanted for the perfect oceanfront vacation with my children and grandchildren. It was very clean and I loved that every room had at least a queen size bed so we had the perfect space for 4 families (8 adults and 4 children.) The condo staff kept it safe and secure. There were plenty of luggage carts available. We loved the pool and lazy river. Great beach access. The recommended rental company for beach umbrellas and chairs was great and good price for weekly rental, glad we rented the wagon to bring the equipment down to the beach. The condo had a nice long balcony with a table and plenty of chairs. Easy access to covered parking across the street. Great large capacity washer and dryer. Lots of towels were provided. Kitchen was well stocked with plenty of cups, plates and flatwear. It was nice that they had a Keurig. There was a very long line to use the elevators on Saturday so I'm glad this rental was Friday to Friday. The air conditioning was great and kept the rooms cool. The front bedroom could use black out curtains because the building hall lights shined brightly into the room all night and the drawers in the dresser of that bedroom didn't work properly, they kept falling out when you opened them. We loved the location with plenty of options for breakfast and dinner and close access to Barefoot Landing. Overall, I would definitely return and hopefully that condo would be available again.

Great family spot for long weekend

We were in town with family for my son's weekend soccer tournament and this property worked perfectly for our long weekend. The property being right on the beach with pool access as well meant that we had time for the kids to play in between soccer games. The proximity to other family activities and restaurants in the evening also was convenient. The property was also the perfect size for our immediate family of four plus two set of grandparents who came to watch the kids play on the beach. Over all a great vacation and soccer tournament for everyone.

Great Property ; Not so great property manager

The condo was great. Great location on the beach. Most everything you would expect from a VRBO property was included. (Bring extra toilet paper.) The property managers are another matter. First they add a damage insurance fee to the quoted price. When you say you don't want this "optional" insurance you are told that if you don't take it you will have to give a large deposit. Then when you check in you're hit with another surprise, a substantial charge for key deposit. This is not a hold on your CC. It's a real charge. Then after you check out they will mail you a refund check. When we checked in (Saturday) we found the oven not working. We called the after hours phone number and finally were able to reach someone on Sunday afternoon. On Monday morning we were told that the stove would be replaced that day. Since nobody ever showed up (or even called) we were forced to change plans and go out for dinner. When we inquired on Tuesday morning, we were told the stove would be delivered that day. Thankfully it actually was. It is understandable in these days of supply chain disruption, that the stove might not be available the same day. The lack of communication, however. is not acceptable from a professional property management company.

Family get a way for family wedding!

Overall a great property. It was clean, fairly well stocked, roomy and an excellent view. The furnishings were sturdy although slightly worn. The biggest issue was our oven did not work. We did let ODVR know our first full day there but it was never fixed. Kitchen was fairly well stocked with supplies except for a large frying pan. A must when cooking for 8-12 people. I had my daughter in law bring our large electric griddle along which was a life saver for breakfast. The location of the condo is great except for the pub/bar right beside it, Molly Darcey's. The pub/bar is open till 2 a.m. and it gets a lot of business. It can be pretty noisy at night when trying to sleep, especially the two rooms towards that side. It would be nice if the pool/ hot tub were open later than 9:00 p.m. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much.

Nice and Good Location

Was very happy to see the rental of banana boats was right outside condo. Could use updated patio furniture and the bed in master bedroom wasn’t the most comfortable but manageable. (Very squeaky) Overall would stay here again.

Great Place / Great Location

The property’s layout is very spacious and was very accommodating for our family of 8. And although it was clean, it really needs some updating to it’s couches and bedding. They have seen better days.

Perfect for large families or groups!

The place had plenty of room for our large family! The place was roomy, clean and well stocked. It's in a really good location too. The view from the balcony is beautiful!

Responsiveness was excellent

We had 2 non emergency items within the first 2 days, broken garbage disposal and faucet in the master bathroom. Both of these were replaced within that day with no interruptions to our vacation. Everyone we talked to throughout our stay was really friendly and helpful
