The Space:

Beach Cove 817 at Big Fish Rentals



This beachfront condo is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful ocean views. The fully equipped kitchen has a full-size refrigerator, microwave, and HDTV, so you can cook meals or just enjoy a snack while taking in the view. The balcony is the perfect spot for morning coffee or evening cocktails. There are indoor and outdoor pools, a lazy river, and hot tubs on the property. The condo is also close to a beach, so you can walk right out and enjoy the sand and surf.



Guest Access:

This rental includes the entire space as well as access to the building's amenities. We want you to feel at home during your stay. Please, don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns.



The Neighborhood:

This beachfront resort has abundant amenities to make your stay enjoyable. There are indoor and outdoor whirlpools, a lazy river ride, a spacious pool deck, a Tiki bar, and social areas. The pools are oceanfront and there are indoor pools as well! There is an interactive splash and play area for children, a fitness room, and a lounge. And best of all, there is free wifi.



Getting Around:

I highly recommend using ride-sharing services such as Uber and Lyft to get around the area. If you prefer to drive yourself, Turo is a great option for renting a car. Please contact me if you have any questions about these transportation options or anything else about your stay. I look forward to hosting you.



Other Things to Note:

This is a personally owned condo, not a hotel room. Please treat it as you would your own home. The door is managed by a code lock, so there is no need to check in at the front desk. You will receive the code the day of your arrival in the welcome email. Your stay includes linens for beds, towels, and washcloths, as well as starter trash bags, hand soap, and toilet paper. Umbrellas and chairs may be rented on the beach from the lifeguards. Since this is not part of the hotel, you will not receive daily maid service. However, if you would like daily or bi-weekly maid service or towel exchange, this can be arranged for an additional fee. Resort amenities include outdoor and indoor heated pools, indoor and outdoor hot tubs, an outdoor lazy river, ice and vending machines. You will have full access to all of these amenities.



With outstanding views from the 7th floor, this Beach Cove Paradise is truly a renter's paradise in any season. Enjoy amenities such as indoor/outdoor heated pools, hot tubs, sauna, game room, tiki bar, and pool decking. Directly across the street is Barefoot Landing, House of Blues, and Alabama Theater. Beach Cove is the perfect location for everything Myrtle Beach has to offer.



Note: You will not have access to the Indoor Bar/Game Room area.

Important Notice:

- There is an ongoing structural maintenance taking place at the resort, focusing on the balconies and exterior columns. Construction crews will be working on different sections of the building. Guests may experience some construction noise during the day. Workers may also be on exterior scaffolding, temporarily obstructing some views. For privacy, guests can close curtains when crews are nearby. Please expect possible noise, and pool shut off, and limited access to the balconies during operation hours for safety purposes.

Never Again

This property is nice. It was very clean. But I will say because the booking agent did not follow-up to find out why we did not provide the additional information that was required...and it is extensive...we sat for the first 90 minutes in the lobby waiting on their replies. We will not stay with Big Fish rentals again. Information required: photo of credit card on both sides. photo of us holding licenses up in front of our faces, photos of our signatures...that's 8 photos. Never had anything like this and we travel.

Okay for short stay

I was nervous at first because a google search of host company will lead you to many complaints such as they find ways to charge you for things. It is odd to have to read a very long additional renters agreement you must sign after booking through VRBO and provide pictures of you, your credit card, and you ID. The condo is advertised as updated and with beautiful decor. Place looks dated and grungy. Saw a few roach like bugs in the condo, maybe roaches, i am unsure but gross regardless. Bathroom is very dated and looks barely put together by a professional, carpet is very old and worn. Resort itself was okay, lazy river was closed and construction was being performed on one of the towers. I made sure to clean up after ourselves properly and ensure the room was in the condition i received it in due to the numerous complaints i found online about extra charges. It was good for our short stay but i would have been disappointed if i had to spend a week here.

Amazing view and comfortable accomodations

We loved walking out on the balcony and seeing the ocean. It was perfect for us, small, comfortable, and had everything we needed. It was super close to everything, and checking in and checking out was a breeze.

Wonderful accommodations

The room was exactly how it was listed. It was perfect for my husband and I who needed a place to rest our heads for a long weekend. Room was clean with no issues. I did email the company after not receiving the check in code, and received a response immediately. Great customer service.

Exactly what we needed!!!

This property was perfectly described in the listing, and it was exactly what we needed for our trip with our 11 and 14 year old kiddos! Awesome beach location with several great pools, and super close to the restaurants and attractions we had already planned to visit. Also, a super quick drive into Myrtle Beach proper! We will absolutely look to stay again on our next visit!!!

Perfect Girls Weekend

We stayed here for a quick girls weekend. Perfect location away from a lot of the down town MB. You could tell it was a little off season. Everything was great. Our only complaint was lack of luggage carts but that's common.

Great spot at a great price for a last minute, off-season booking. Great restaurants and shopping options were in walking distance in the Barefoot Landing area. Also had great communication with my booking agent, Julie Bryant from Big Fish Rentals. Would definitely stay here again.

Glad our stay was short

The resort is falling apart. Only one elevator working so that took a while to get to the 8th floor. Half of the pools where drained, this may be because it was in October and because your not a hotel guest you can’t use any facilities. The condo beds are so old and awful. The person that send emails and text send so many about rules and the condo needs some love. No hangers for guest to hang clothes in the closet. The furniture is also beat up. So it was very annoying to get so many emails on how you will be charged for damages when the condo was not even in good shape. My stars on cleaning had to do with a deeper cleaning! Everything was old dirty. Very disappointed!

Somewhat disappointed

This is the second time I’ve stayed in this unit. Last time was about a year ago. The advertisement said something like it was recently remodeled. I’m guessing that was some time ago. The mold around the tub was disappointing. Didn’t like having to take the trash out upon leaving.

Beautiful views. Plush, clean smelling towels. Condo needs some tlc but not bad. Throw away the worn sheets that feel like sandpaper. Replace creaky beds and put some oil on squeaky doors.

Great location.

We booked a last minute vacation, so finding oceanfront in North Myrtle in July was a bit tricky, but we found a room available at Beach Cove. The room itself was your average, not really updated hotel room, but that was all we really needed. The renters communication was great. We were within walking distance to several eateries and across the street from barefoot landing. The beds were comfortable, the shower pressure was good. Other than that we really didn't use the room much. We would stay there again.
