"This is far from a 'boutique' apartment! It felt like a converted cellar, with very cold and dirty flagstones that were loose and breaking up in places. The apartment wasn't entirely clean. The bed was made up with fresh sheets, the kitchen surfaces had been cleaned and the bathroom was clean. However some of cookware was filthy and there were lots of places that obviously hadn't been cleaned in weeks with lots of dust and webs. There is a locked door in the bedroom that must lead to an outside...

"We booked this place for 2 separate stays months in advance. 1st stay upon arrival and 1st use cups needed to be hand cleaned, using the sink faucet sink would not drain, water was leaking from the pipes under the sink onto the floor. Flooring separating, probably from water damage. We used the toilet there were spiders that i had to kill. Contacted the property manager and pipe leak fixed only. Was texted back they cannot control spiders getting in. 2nd stay nothing fixed and manager did...

"Me and my partner had a wonderful stay at the old garage, very clean very homely and very modern, everything you could need for a break away, we did find the bed a little on the hard side but everyone has different comfort level with that, shower was amazing, host was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed on arrival, would definitely stay again if we were in the area! "Spotlessly clean, fabulous hosts and stocked with everything you could possibly need. Reading past reviews I was shocked at mentions of the floors being cold. It's an 18th century cellar for goodness sake!!! Stone floors are part of the charm. It is cosy and warm at this time of year (and I imagine lovely and cool in the summer).I would definitely stay again for its location, its cleanliness and its hosts. Can't fault it except for the mattress, which is a bit "argos" and could do with a good...
