"This was our first time renting a cottage through VRBO, and also our first time in Newfoundland. Right from the beginning our host Danielle was very friendly and helpful. We fell in love with the little cottage by the sea from the pictures, and when we got there it didn’t disappoint. The decorations were lovely, the cottage cozy and the beds were comfy. I can see it being a little difficult to get around in if someone has balance or mobility issues as it’s an older building and has uneven...

"Absolutely amazing! Host went above and beyond with added touches of homemade bread, cinnamon buns, treats and decor for our anniversary. The home was so cottage chic, we loved it. "

"The property was exactly as described. It was clean and had comfortable furniture and beds. The bathrooms were a good size. Plenty of television stations. Although it stated there was no kitchen. I really missed not having one. I found the owner very quick to respond to questions."

"Enjoyed our stay here a lot. The kitchen was stocked with equipment, the rooms were comfortable, the living area was great and the view out the window was lovely. There aren’t a lot or restaurants nearby, but we were out touring so found them there. If you aren’t looking to tour, be sure to bring groceries or stop along the way. "

"I was looking for a few days away, to enjoy some solitude in my favorite Canadian destination. I found exactly what I needed and wanted. Relatively close to St. John's - Norman's Cove - Long Cove is a delightful community, with friendly, welcoming people, and great ocean views.Karl's property was cozy, well equipped, and provided a fantastic base from which to take day trips to the Baccalieu Trail, Trinity, and St. John's.
