Hoteller i Norfolk – Virginia Beach

"Loved this place! I'm kind of picky about hotels. I can't stand a dirty smelly place. This place was very clean and comfortable. We stayed in it for a few days before heading to a family gathering. Then we booked it again for a night before leaving town. The second stay I guess I booked a room that was the last king bed and happened to be the handicap accessible corner room. It was way big and explained the slightly higher price. Even though a paid a little more it was a very restful sleep...

"My husband, my mother and I stayed in two rooms for the homecoming of my son on the USS Gerald Ford. We were very disappointed that the rooms did not have a coffee maker OR a microwave. They also did not have any dresser or night stands with drawers to store clothes. This was definitely like staying in a dorm room. "Rooms were not ready when we arrived. We had to wait 3 hours until 7pm before getting into a room. Many others were waiting and only after complaining several time some got vouchers for the bar or a deduction on the room. No compensation was offered as a service. "

"Valet parking is a must.. the urgency and kindness the gentleman put in getting your vehicle -I give them a 10-. The staff at check in were nice, asked us what floor we preferred and north/or south side. The overall appearance and the fragrance of the hotel is nice. The bar side during happy hour was pleasant. For dinner we had to wait to be seated, per sign posted with multiple employees walking by before we were acknowledged and seated. After seated we waited again, then finally walked out....

"In general a nice hotel, but the check in was horrible. They questioned both my Visa AND Mastercard (which ofcourse both has worldwide coverage), claiming that i as a tourist, was suppose to have them issued from an american bank. Before at last accepting them, after a long discussion. NEVER tried that before. "
