"We had a small group of guys that wanted to do a golfing and fly fishing trip. Staying at Lester River Pines was the perfect spot for us. Beautiful chunk of land with a deck that provides beautiful sunrise views over a pond. We particularly enjoyed the large kitchen as it was easy to work in while cooking. "We enjoyed our stay at the townhome. From the pictures we didn’t know the loft bed was almost right outside the door from the bedroom. We didn’t end up using it because of the proximity. As two couples we had one use the basement and the other the bedroom. Three of us thought the mattresses were a bit too firm. The other person found it comfortable like they were getting a little hug. We all loved the view of the lake."

"We enjoyed our stay in this home! Lakefront views are beautiful. Neighborhood is quiet and wooded yet easy access to Duluth. Lots of seating for relaxing. The layout of the house is curious - as mentioned in some of the other reviews, the bedroom and bathroom in the loft are somewhat open to the living area which makes it feel less private - not a problem for us but may be a consideration depending on your group.
