"Our family has stayed at this farmhouse in all seasons, and enjoy it every time. We spent a week in early June with cool weather and easy access to biking, hiking, walking on the rec path. We cook family meals in the well equipped kitchen. "Overall impression was instant family. This home is so comfortable and the scenery and location are absolutely off the charts. Views from the back of the house were mind blowing. The rustic charm of the place is just what we wanted and the off-grid lifestyle felt great to espouse, even if just for a vacation. We’ll be looking to book this place for our trip next summer. "

"Every year my family rents a house in Stowe to ski. This year there were 8 of us (all adults) and it was our first time staying at this house. The property was clean and bright, and situated very close to downtown and about 12 minutes to Stowe. Comfy furniture and beds, and lots of parking. The owner was very responsive to my messages. It appears the house is very newly renovated and there were a few things that could be improved upon. Between the two kitchens, there was only one kitchen towel...

"What a great place to spend a week in Stowe! Great location (5-10 minutes from the resort, 5-10 minutes from town). The property was super clean and inviting. The library / sitting room area is a great place to spend time with family and friends. We could not get over how warm the house was, despite the freezing temperatures. I highly recommend and hope to be back! "

"The quaint house is right off the road and easy to get to places. It is very well decorated and clean! It was even equipped with utensils, dishes and cups for our use which was helpful when the kids were still hungry at night. We didn’t have any communication issues as the details were very clear and given far in advance. We really enjoyed our stay here! "

"What an amazing place to stay and enjoy the Mad River Valley! Rachel and her family made the stay perfect, adding special touches that made you feel right at home. The location is fabulous - walking distance to everything you need in Waitsfield and right on the river. Our kiddos loved running around on the property and playing with the cat and bunnies. We’d recommend staying here and hope to visit again someday!"
