"We can't say enough nice things about this house. My parents, brother and his kids, and my husband and I stayed here for a family reunion. It is a wonderful house. The photos do not do it justice. We really enjoyed having our coffee and breakfast sitting by the lake. The sun room is lovely - we had one very rainy day and sitting there and watching the rain on the lake was very nice. "The location to Goat Island was great - only a one mile walk to the Falls. You can either walk down the level street to the bridge or across the street into the park and down 54 metal stairs to a nice scenic walk in the park. (I only mention the metal because some dogs are afraid of those.) The townhome was clean and comfortable, but without carpets you can hear every footstep when someone is upstairs. "The stay was wonderful! An extremely beautiful view, clean and serene space, and everything was provided for. Dave and his family were wonderful, and helped provide everything we could need. Even getting us out of the mud on the first night. Close to some of the best wineries and eats in the area, and a short drive to some very visually stunning parks beyond the lake itself. "Check in was very easy, I was given a code to a lockbox. I overpacked assuming it would be a little more rustic, turns out it has all the comfort and conveniences of home. Cottage, grounds, and hot tub were clean and inviting. We were there very early spring before the leaves grew on the trees and the view was incredible! There’s a nice hiking trail a mile down the road, and water access directly across the street. This place exceeded my expectations all around! Book it!"
