"This cabin-like cottage is lovely. The cottage is steps away from the lake - the sounds of crashing waves is very soothing. There are train tracks near the neighborhood and the trains provide a nice soundtrack when you can hear them and were not disruptive (I think the grandkids would have loved to watch trains roll along the trestle actually). "Two nights stay. Very cute place to stay. It was located next to the event we wanted to participate in. Very private very clean and would definitely stay there again. Also to answer your question yes the shower is outside in a shower tent. But the instant hot water heater makes it a super comfortable experience. We stayed in the fall with 50° weather.
