The room was huge,bed was comfortable. Shower was warm. Except for the rain, we liked Newton Steward.

Barholm Accommodation
Not fancy, but very clean, in good condition, and very friendly staff, and a good price. All we needed.

The Bruce Hotel
Excellent, convenient location to stay during the Wigtown book festival. Particular highlight being the friendly, informative staff. We were delighted to experience the delicious Scottish breakfast each morning, ingredients sourced from local farms.

Ochiltree Cottage, Waterside Newton Stewart.
We stayed 6 Nights and found a cottage with very modern furniture, all you Need in the kitchen, own BBQ Grill Outside including Picnic Area. Allthough Its in the countryside, with a lot of nature around (trees, River, sheep, Cattle, birds and Flowers- you have a stabile wifi Connection. So What ever ...
