Please note, the dock is a shared dock. Other Duffy boat owners have access to the dock and must access the yard.

Step outside to the expansive patio, where the true magic of Canalfront Charmer unfolds. Here, you'll find a luxurious hot tub overlooking the water, perfect for unwinding under the stars. The al fresco dining area invites you to savor meals in the open air, with a built-in BBQ grill and prep space ready for your culinary creations. Sun loungers beckon you to soak up the California sun, while the dock offers the ultimate waterfront experience. Please note that the dock is shared and accessible to others outside the property. Take a leisurely cruise on the available Duffy Boat, and let the gentle waves carry you into blissful relaxation.

As you step inside, you'll be greeted by an upscale, polished interior where every detail is designed with comfort and style in mind. The open spaces are bathed in natural light, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel instantly at home. The living room, with its plush seating and TV, invites you to sink in and enjoy a cozy movie night after a day of exploring the nearby Newport Pier or Balboa Peninsula. There is also a queen sleeper sofa for additional sleeping arrangements. Please note that a long-term tenant resides upstairs and has use of the other half of the garage.

The heart of the home is the fully equipped kitchen, complete with a full suite of appliances and everything you need to whip up delicious meals. Whether you're preparing a gourmet dinner or a quick breakfast, the kitchen's thoughtful design ensures that every moment spent here is a pleasure. The two beautiful bedrooms offer restful retreats after a day in the sun. The primary suite features a king bed, a twin bed, and an ensuite bathroom with a spacious shower boasting dual showerheads. Surf's up! This coastal city has the largest recreational harbor on the West Coast and is known for its amazing beaches, parks, restaurants, and outdoor shopping centers. The living is easy here and it invites you to ride bikes along the boardwalk and watch pros surf some of the biggest swells in Southern California at The Wedge. Take the ferry to Balboa Island for some of the best seafood in the area and to visit an old-school amusement park with a historic Ferris wheel.

Home Truths:
- Please note our occupancy includes an additional two beyond bed count. Trifold floor mattresses and additional linens can be provided upon request.
- Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in this home. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval, there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- The Duffy boat can be rented for $180 a day, $400 for 3 days, $800 for 7 days.
- This home does not have A/C.
- Please note that there is ongoing construction next to the property.
- The upstairs tenant has access to the garage for parking and use of the washer and dryer. Their parking spot is on the left side of the garage, while our guests can park on the right side.

Accidental Damage Protection: A non-refundable accidental damage protection plan has been included in the price of your reservation. Under this plan, you will not be held responsible to pay for accidental damage or loss to the rental property resulting from you or others in your party up to $2000. This plan does not cover intentional acts of a guest, gross negligence, or willful and wanton conduct, and/or damages caused by pets. This plan is not available for reservations 28 days or longer or reservations that require a security deposit.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 30 days require a security deposit.

We report and prosecute all Credit Card Fraud.

Great location

We stayed at this property with family. The checkin was easy and the house was nice. There were some issues (hardly any spoons, lack of towels and the hot tub had not been serviced) but the host was quick to respond and resolve the issues. There was active construction next door that was not disclosed, which affected our plans and woke us up early.
