"Overall, this vacation home was enjoyable, nestled within the rainforest where we saw macaws, toucans, many other birds, squirrel monkeys, capuchin monkeys, and howler monkeys from the top deck. The home has all the necessities for a week stay, and the location is great for visiting Manuel Antonio park and beaches. The main downside was the main floor had no air conditioning, so this part of this house (kitchen, dining room, living room) was uncomfortable. Some tall tower fans would really help....

"This rental was perfect for two couples, each couple had a beautiful clean master suite. The property was beautiful with the most amazing views! We enjoyed the pool and patio after our adventures every night! It is so helpful to have your own Concierge to plan everything you need, Maria was amazing and so helpful! "This property has a fantastic view of the sunsets as well as a very nice interior. Full kitchen for any of your cooking needs, accessible by vehicle as long as it is smaller. I however opted to walk unless I was being picked up by your guides. The closest restaurants are a 10 minute walk away and Quepos is only 15 for the closest grocery store. Fantastic, host communication and friendliness. Would recommend to many for the price and quality you receive "

"Nice house with lots of wildlife! Saw monkeys, macaws and many other colorful birds. The pool could use some TLC but served its purpose and was nice to jump into after a day of excursions. Check in and check out process was smooth and we were lucky to get early check in and late check out."

"Most amazing place we’ve ever stayed. View is breathtaking. Exactly what we were hoping for, jungle stay out of the city. Drive is as others describe, very steep and rough. You need four wheel drive. We got the chef service with Rambo and made the stay so much easier as the grocery store is not super close. Would stay again. We had 4 adults and 4 kids with plenty of room. all were amazed with the place."

"We were greeted my the smiling faces of Luci and Luis. They showed us around and told us how to contact them for any questions. Luis brought us fresh coconut water! Luci was a gem. She showed us how to prepare our fresh fish, make pantacones, and other helpful hints. We enjoyed the pool and hammocks by the beach. "Howler Hideaway The Howler Hideaway was the perfect condo for our family of 4. The place was clean and super spacious and located perfectly in between downtown Quepos and the touristic part of town. The location was 5/10 minutes from any restaurant or tourist shops and about 10/15 minutes from any beach. The house manager Fabian provided outstanding service. We were able to be in touch with him before the trip to plan our excursions and he organized everything down to the pick up and drop off...

"We saw howler monkeys, capuchins, agoutis, toucans and macaws. Home was clean and caretakers were very friendly. There is a small error in listing that wasn’t a problem for us. There are 2 full baths-1 upstairs and 1 downstairs. The listing mentions 2 additional half baths. The downstairs unit can be rented separately and is not connected internally to upstairs."

"Amazing home nestled atop a mountain. Beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean from all rooms! Definitely want a 4 wheel drive vehicle to make it up the steep drive but it's worth it. Close to restaurants in dominical and many attractions are within a 30 min - 45 min drive from the home."
