This charming oceanfront property located on Historic Row in Nags Head offers a unique blend of vintage elegance and modern comfort. Built in 1930, this historic home has 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, allowing families or groups of friends to enjoy a memorable and unique beach vacation.

The main house features a cozy and inviting atmosphere with stunning views of the ocean from multiple rooms. Its layout includes a well-equipped kitchen (no dishwasher), a comfortable living area, and dining space perfect for gathering and entertaining. The bedrooms are tastefully decorated and offer comfortable accommodations for guests.
In addition to the main house, the property includes a charming 1 bedroom, 1 bath guest house, providing extra privacy and flexibility for guests. This guest house is also pet-friendly, allowing furry family members to join in on the vacation fun.

Outside, guests can relax and soak up the sun on the expansive deck overlooking the ocean, or take a leisurely stroll along the shore just steps away. With access to the beach right at your doorstep, you can easily enjoy days filled with swimming, sunbathing, and searching for beach treasures. Whether you're seeking a peaceful retreat or an action-packed beach getaway, this oceanfront home on Historic Row in Nags Head offers the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and coastal charm.

All reservations are offered to purchase travel insurance for an additional 7.75% of your rent and taxes. Please refer to the rental agreement you will be signing to accept or decline this coverage as your refund in the time of cancellation will be dependent on your acceptance in most situations. All guests must sign and return a rental agreement before reservations are confirmed. Payment for travel insurance, if accepted, will be processed upon receipt of this signed agreement.

Standard cancellation policy is: CANCELLATION POLICY and SUBSTITUTIONS - Any changes, including changing dates, switching of properties, or complete cancellations will invoke the cancellation policy. Agent recommends all Renters purchase travel insurance offered at time of booking to protect them in the event of an unexpected event affecting their vacation. Agent cannot offer future credits or immediate refunds for unexpected cancellations due to emergencies regardless of the situation, including but not limited to weather events and acts of God, unexpected illnesses, injury or death, changing of plans, or job loss. Please do not ask. All cancellations are subject to a fifty dollar ($50.00) cancellation fee. Cancellations must be submitted to Agent in writing (email is acceptable). In the event of cancellation, no refund of monies paid will be made unless the Property is re-rented for the same price and time period of this original vacation rental agreement. If the Property is re-rented for a lesser price or time period, the original Tenant will receive a refund for the difference between the originally agreed upon rental amount and the rebooked rental amount as Owner is entitled to receive the full amount of the original rental agreement. Agent will make every effort to re-rent the Property at the full amount. Tenant acknowledges that Agent has full discretion on negotiating rental rates in an effort to get the Property re-rented and make the Owner whole, while also attempting to get the Tenant the highest refund possible.

Excellent view, dirty and not well maintained

The view from the porch of the oceanfront house is fantastic. The other plus was that the sheets had been professionally laundered and ironed. The TVs worked fine. We rented both the oceanfront and smaller houses. The smaller house was clean but the shower drain was not hooked to plumbing; it drained onto the ground. The property is older but the larger house was dirty and had not been maintained. The property manager had to send the exterminator because we found roaches (which they called water bugs). There was what appeared to be mold in some ceilings and shower areas. There were dust webs above the kitchen cabinets, under the beds and on some of the textured walls. The walls had water stains and dirt marks. All the woodwork was dinged and gouged. The flooring in the kitchen had cuts in two areas. The areas around the shower had mold and possibly rot. The kitchen cabinets had dirt, crumbs and who knows what else on the shelves. The oven racks were dirty, the appliances had rust and gouges in the finish. The porch had not been cleaned; there was considerable dirt and animal hair on the styles of the porch railing. The exterior paint trim and doors were missing much of the paint and the doors had much dirt from people’s hands.
