"Carolinian 731" is in a GREAT location. However, there ARE the NEGATIVE aspects. As was the case when we stayed in September,we had to call maintenance for some "situations". The toilet would not flush...the hall/kitchen clock needed a battery...the lamp beside the sofa needed a light bulb...the living room tv needed "attention"...the curtains in the bedroom d0 NOT keep the outside hall light from partly shining in...the curtains in the living room could NOT be closed (maintenance advised us that was the condo owners's decision for whatever reason, as we were told last stay). We called the office(?) soon after arriving and notified the lady. Joey, the maintenance man, soon came and remedied the tv, put a new battery in the clock, put a new bulb in the lamp, and fixed the toilet. Joey deserved(s) a "5-Star Rating"...he was extremely nice and "knew what he was doing". Now, should a vacationer have to go through this each and every time he/she stays here? I wouldn't think so!True, the condo is quite old but with a fantastic ocean view, but MORE attention should be given to ALL the "boo boos"! My wife and I are booked here in a couple of weeks... wonder if Joey will have to stop back by?? It is unfortunate the condo has no cancellation policy...agreed?? See you in a couple of weeks.
