I was booked from July 5 thru July 12.
The location of the property is ideal to major attractions. I thought that the Anderson was a fully Hilton Property. Upon arrival, I discovered that it is not fully a Hilton Property. I was booked in a room that had an independent owner and consequently, the room was not updated. The furnishings were mediocre at best. I asked for an updated room, accommodation could not be made.
I had several issues with the room and when I contacted management via the text application feature, I received word that someone would contact me. No one contacted me. The next day, I went to the front desk to address the matter again. Again, I was told that someone would come to my room to address the matter. Again, no one came. I called downstairs to have coffee restocked. I was told someone would bring it up. I'm still waiting on the coffee. The housekeeping staff that serviced the 19th floor were rude and appeared like any request was bothering them. When I asked to have my room serviced, I was told that my room was serviced the day before, that was not true. I had to explain that no one had come to do anything to the room. They finally came on day 3. The exterior grounds could certainly use some attention. Mulch was old and needed to be replaced, exterior trash cans were overflowing. The day of checkout, we had no water and the elevators were not working. Thid is the last time that I will stay at the property.
