"Tambo del Arriero Boutique Hotel is a charming authentic place located very centrered. The staff is kind and service-minded to an extend. Sadly, we were robbed of (a lot) of cash in our hotel room the following day of our arrival, and the hotel did not act properly on the occurrence. Days following the robbery, we had to file a police report ourselves in the police station in Cusco. Overall a unpleasant experience as foreigners coming to visit Peru. "

"Casa Cristobal Centenario is a great place to stay. It’s about 10 to 20 minutes maximum walk to plaza de armas. Staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Breakfast is amazing.
If you plan a tour most of the companies pick you up from the hotel, but keep in mind that they tend to drop you off in the central area like plaza de armas.
If you use Inka Rail to go to Macchu Picchu you can also walk to the train station.
