My experience at the Emerald Hotel in Mumbai was extremely disappointing. The condition of the room and bathroom was unacceptable. The bed sheets were ripped and visibly stained, and the room felt unclean overall. The bathroom was dirty and poorly maintained, which made the stay very uncomfortable.
We had booked two rooms. One room was used for a single night and we checked out the following day. The second room was never used at all due to the poor condition, yet this made no difference to how the situation was handled.
What made the experience worse was the attitude of both the staff and management. The staff were largely indifferent and never offered an apology. The manager was particularly unhelpful and showed no willingness to address or resolve the issues raised.
Overall, this hotel falls far below acceptable standards for cleanliness, service, and customer care. I would not recommend staying here.
