"In Turangi for a few days fishing with a mate great for two blokes with own bedrooms and ensuites one upstairs one down off the garage. Does sleep a couple more on a mezzanine above kitchen but not ideal unless young and fit lol. Possibly a bit dodgy for older folks or younger kids. Good clean unit with all ammenities. Comfy beds and good showers. Everything you need and nothing ya don’t. Fair condition for age and nice and warm. Good sized garage to keep vehicle and all our wet gear in at...

"We loved our stay here and would have stayed longer. The house is beautifully laid out with the living areas upstairs (beautiful views!) and the sleeping downstairs. The kitchen is quite well appointed and has an excellent oven and stove. It's a little drive to anywhere but we had a rental car so that was no issue, only 15 mins to Tongariro visitors centre. "

"For 4 adults attending the Wairakei School of Golf this was a perfect place to stay. One couple and 2 singles each with our own bathroom was perfect. Plenty of space inside and although we didn't use outside it would have been a great space for pre dinner drinks and chat. Being close to town, bars and restaurants makes this place very appealing. Would recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in Taupo, close to the be able to relaxaction but far enough away to be away from the noise....

"Dear Angela,Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful home. The house was very clean, even by my mum's standards, and she is very hard to impress. Everything was as advertised, apart from being unable to watch free-to-air TV in the bedroom. But this is a very minor problem as we were not really there to watch TV. "Super cozy chalets located ~10 minutes walk from the center of Ohakune. Two separate bedrooms and a large living room provides a great setting for down-time if you need a break from exploring the gorgeous surroundings. The chalet has a functional kitchen, but Ohakune has an excellent selection of restaurants for people who - like us - are too lazy to cook. We can especially recommend the Mountain Rocks café for breakfast. We were warmly welcomed when we arrived, and given great recommendations of which walks best fit our desires for waterfalls and general fitness. All in all, a terrific experience, and we'll definitely be back!"
