Welcome to Taupō Premium Retreat, a modern private guest studio attached to our family home in peaceful Wharewaka. Designed for couples and solo travellers, it offers a comfortable, private base for relaxing and exploring Taupō.
The studio has its own secure entrance and no shared indoor spaces. Inside, you’ll find a super-king bed, private ensuite, heat pump, 55-inch Smart TV, breakfast bar.
The compact kitchenette includes a bar fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, sink, crockery, cutlery, tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Please note that there is no full kitchen or indoor cooktop; a private outdoor BBQ is provided.
Your modern ensuite features a tiled walk-in rainfall shower, illuminated mirror and complimentary shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand wash. Fresh towels and a hair dryer are also provided.
Outside, guests have exclusive use of a heated spa pool, BBQ and covered seating area. One dedicated on-site parking space is available directly outside the suite.
Contactless check-in is available through a lockbox. The spa is heated and ready for use upon arrival, with simple instructions provided to help keep the water warm and clean.
The suite is attached to our family home, but your accommodation, entrance and guest amenities are private throughout your stay. You may occasionally hear normal household sounds, although we do our best to maintain a quiet and comfortable environment.
The property is approximately 7 km from Taupō town centre. Lake Taupō, walking and cycling trails, shops, cafés, restaurants and local attractions are a short drive away, so having a vehicle is recommended.
