"Beautiful place to stay "

"Highland Dell is a lovely old lodge overlooking the beautiful Russian River. The host were friendly and helpful. The bed is very comfortable. I highly recommend dining at the restaurant. Our schnitzel was excellent and the house-made apple strudel is unsurpassed! I keep thinking about it. The breakfast included with the room is the best, by far, I have had at a hotel. Try the pastries. The rooms are VERY small, but nice, like in the old days when people didn't have as much stuff. Get over it....

"We enjoyed our 3 night stay very much. The staff and management are outstanding. The location of the Manor is so tranquil and so welcoming. The room we had faced the River, which was fantastic. The dock is outstanding and access to (excellent) kayaks, paddleboards and floaties just makes accessing the beautiful River so easy. We really could not have been more pleased with our experience. The only suggestion we would make is simply to continue with the upgrades you are doing. The rooms...

"Ok so this is a place that you have to appreciate the rustic charm and love the affordability. Jay is great. Responsive. Its not crowded. Theres available parking. The property is beautiful. The river folks are friendly...well most of them anyway. Yes the rugs could use changing, and the outside chairs could use a good scrubbing. But I will be making this my go to definitely. "

"The location on the river was perfect. We enjoyed their paddle boards, kayaks, floats, and the hot tub with amazing views of the redwoods towering above. SomeWent swimming in the river. Also We had 10 people. There are three bedrooms with queen or king beds upstairs, comfortable bed and each with an emsuite bath. The kitchen was large with plenty of pots, pans. Three coffee makers for different preferences. One Keurig and two Mr.Coffee types. Large Dining table that fit all of us. Downstairs...

"Beautiful to wake up in the trees every morning. Very quiet and relaxing. Great hot tub and deck for dining. Walked the road to river for the day and back, was steep but only 10-minutes down and 20-minutes back up the hill. Driving was short but precarious enough that we didn’t try it after dark after the first night out at a friend’s birthday dinner. Good cable options solid wifi, and good kitchen. Dog loved the deck and outdoor space m, but we needed to drive him down the hill for a longer...
