It is located right next to the beautiful shrine which is Unesco world heritage, and having amazing view of Mt.Fuji from the terrace. I agree with other reviews calling the hotel dated, the tatami could do with a change, there were spots on the walls and furniture, and the ceiling in the onsen was mouldy. A refurbishment, and this hotel would be deserving of its staff. One important thing, though. VERY thin walls, which can be annoying, especially if your neighbour brought their children."
