"Friendily competent staff. Shopping near by, Within walking distance of the Duomo and “Centrale” train station. Metro access literally right next to the hotel. Good breakfast buffet and lovely rooftop terrace."

"The hotel staff were the most kind and smiling people. Both the ones in the reception and at the front door. We received nothing but the most helpfull and positiv attitudes regarding our inquiries. The hotel has many 4-star facilities and complimentaries. The breakfast buffet may not have been the worlds most exceptionel food, but we were not missing anything. There were all sorts of pastries, crossaints, breadrolls etc. And also warm food as 3 different kinds of eggs. Bacon, sausages. Lots of fruit. Unfortunately it was raining most of the time, but the hotel had complimentary umbrellas we could borrow. Very strong ones in great quality. The only thing that would take the points but down, was the interior of the hotel bedroom. We thought it looked very outdated. The dark coloring of the furniture and walls. And it had obvious wear around the rooms edges, chair etc. But other then that, it was a amazing stay. Really close to the duomo church and shopping. Lots of nice restaurants in 10 min. Walking distance."

"Both the rooms and bathrooms are really nice and clean. The minibar is really expensive. The breakfast was good, not to mention the coffee.. a really good start of the day. The couch in the lobby is a great place to stay. Really cozy. The lobby smells good. So.. what was not good; We used the spa one night, cause the receptionist told us the price was 15€. But she forgot to tell that it was 15 per person.. it was a bit overkill for a small jacuzzi, which was not warm at all. The temperature keep falling to 23,5 eventhough we tried to increase. The steam bath didnt work. We thought we could get steam using the shower and pushing the button placed as a light switch nearby the door. We quickly found out the switch was an alarm. It took the staff 15 minutes and 2 calls to the reception for them to turn off the alarm, which was really loud. I wonder how the guard outside the spa and any others didnt hear it??? I wonder if someone was lying unconscious inside the spa… what would then happen? We couldnt hold us away from thinking that. Thats really scary. SO.. the spa is definitely not worth it. As a gold member on hotels, i should’ve got €35 discount on parking, but we only got for one night eventhough we had 2(two) bookings which was offering this discount. The city is overall really expensive. "

"Subpar hotel, which oversells itself with services that are either limited or pay per visit... First things first, there are redeeming features (always start with the good, they say). Area is great, rooms are decent, breakfast is not bad (but no revelation either). However... I had one positive encounter with a receptionist, who was lovely. The "main guy" there has a lot of attitude and addresses just about everyone in a condescending manner... When I inquired about access to the gym he spitefully said "I told you already, you have to get a separate key made for it". And he is right, he did. But I guess I didn't understand what he meant because how absurd is that? What a weird way to get access to a gym. Every single day you have to ask the receptionist for a separate key...!?!! As it turns out, the reason is that they only allow ONE at a time, because it's so small. On top of that, it's in the same area as the socalled spa (also an incredibly small area), which is not included. It's €30 per time and has to be reserved (none of which they told me upon arrival and none of which is clear from booking a room with them). This also means that you will likely experience that the place is booked for hours and that you can't access it... When I did finally go to this socalled "gym" / "spa", I found a tiny room with 3-4 basic machines and no dumbbells or free weights, as well as a few basic shower rooms with a steam area... Overall there are just much better options in Milan."
