"An unique opportunity to stay in an historic property in the Bothwell area. This place has a comfortable feel with antique furnishings and modern ensuite. The golf setup was pleasing to those interested. Half the guests during my stay were golfing. There is the option for a communal evening meal in the modern events room which has a lovely view of the countryside. "This B&B is 10 mins drive from Sheffield. It is a small farm with chickens running around everywhere. Nice gardens. The room was comfortable. The breakfast is extensive, lots of cereal, cake and fruit options as well as a full cooked breakfast. "

"Rathmore was everything we had hoped for a tranquil weekend escape. We stayed in the Shearer’s Quarters, separate from the main homestead and very private, with delicious meals delivered by Cally - the lamb ragu was a favourite, highly recommended. Both hosts, Richard and Cally, encouraged us to wander the historic property, which felt a little like stepping back in time to a more peaceful era. We even saw one of the dam’s resident platypus! "The property was within walking distance of all you need in Derby. Liz was an excellent communicator and the property was clean and easily accessible. Highly recommend. "
