"The cabin was very clean & bed comfy. This was our first stay in the wilderness, & it was so lovely. So quiet & peaceful. And we had a beautiful meal in the restaurant. We loved our stay here. "
"We booked one night in the lodge. The instructions for check in were easy to follow and our room and the communal areas (kitchen and bathrooms) were very clean and presentable. The lodge is right right next to the restaurant and Altho we did not eat there, the food smelt delicious."
"Hotellets beliggenhed er virkelig skøn og jeg nød at gå morgentur på hotellets egen natursti, hvor jeg oplevede wallabies.
Et minus er, at det var svært at sove, da køleskabet og udendørs ventilation larmede og jeg kunne høre naboen snorke!!
Hvis du booker et værelse i to etager får du den bedste udsigt til regnskoven. Fik et værelse mod parkeringspladsen, hvor udsigten ikke er nær så god. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed out stay at the Empire. The bar girl and our waitress in the dining room were so helpful and friendly. Our room was very comfy although one side of the electric blanket didn’t work. The creaky floor added character to the building. The entrance with its beautiful staircase and furniture was so beautiful . Thoroughly enjoyed our meal in the dining room and our breakfast the next morning. Would recommend this hotel to our friends.😊. "
"it was all very comfortable and warm ion a cold winters night. the door lock was a bit stiff and strange but worked ok and the bed in the front room squeaked!! minor. It was a lovely place to stay "
"We read the reviews and were intrigued. We stayed in winter, and it is cold in Bothwell. It would have been much more inviting if the hosts had the heater running prior to our arrival, but once the property warmed up after a few minutes the shock of how cold it was faded away. We stayed in the 1837 cottage. The accommodation is rustic, eclectically furnished and decorated, and gives an appreciation of life in times gone by. If you are after elegant, refined and well finished accommodation...
