"Overall we had a great experience. The place is lovely. Sitting on the Balcony was fun. It was cool that we could see the sun rise on Lake Erie from the balcony and Sunset on Sandusky Bay about a 100 Feet down the lane. It was clean. We went off season, but still had lots of things to do. Great central location, we were close to Port Clinton, Catawba Island, Marblehead, Sandusky, Huron, and Vermillion."

"Great location , just as described on site , everything you need in home . Comfy beds , great showers , very clean and comfy home . We came to go to Cedar point it’s just a few miles right down road , we also went to Pro Football hall of fame which was just an hour half drive from this home . Lots a good places to eat close by to , highly recommend Barra Tacos :) beautiful sunrises and sunsets at this property . We will stay here again for sure when we come back to this area ."

"The Hummingbird Nest was the perfect rental for our annual Girls Trip with 3 generations of our family. The house is very clean and well appointed with everything you could possibly need for a home away from home. Plenty of things to do at the house, and it has a great location for all the local sightseeing. Booking, check-in and check-out were very easy, and communication with the owner was great. I paid a hefty cleaning fee to stay here too. The entire space smelled like undiluted cleaner when we walked in. But oddly, nothing was clean. We tried to air it out, but there were holes all over the screen to the balcony. So it was bugs all night or the smell. The towels reeked; like they were washed without soap and left in...

"This place was in a nice community, but the house was a dump. It was difficult to find and not very clean. There was a hole in the shower surround, the bikes were rusted, and there was a window and door that were obviously almost broken, upon arrival. The owners will charge you an arm and a leg if you don't take the trash out, place the used sheets on the floor, put dishes away, etc. We will not be staying at this vrbo again, but will be returning to Middle Bass Island."
