The hotel isn't like in the picture, it is outdated.They don't have a self parking, you have to park on strit where is no chance to find a spot, otherwise you are forced to have a valet parking which is pretty pricey. Elevators takes allot of time to get it and they are very noisy. Overall for the price isn't worth it.

I would return. Its a great location. All staff and service was very friendly. The room that we stayed in was nice. The issue I had with the room was in the bathroom. The floors need to be cleaned better. Not just sweeping. It needs wet mopping. The towel to step on when coming out up the shower, went to pick it up and the white towel was black underneath. So you know the floors were not clean.

This is a Luxury hotel. Perfect and beautiful place a few steps to the beach, they offer lounge chairs, towels and umbrellas, wonderful! Great omelet station by the nice buffet breakfast. We’ll be back again!

A lovely place to be based for our family of 5 during our stay in South Beach. The Palms is a very clean and well maintained property which is close to restaurants but also a peaceful place to retreat to. The pool area is surrounded by lush green trees, fronds and flowers. There are plenty of seating options. The towel service and ice water is 5 star. There is a very nice, clean strip of beach and swimming area at the Palms. We loved sitting on the beach and the friendly staff down there. The rooms were well laid out and didn’t feel cramped. They were beautifully cleaned every day, There were a few things that were not great. The first thing was the elevators were slow; in both banks only 1/2 elevators were operating which made for long wait times and several trips up the stairs. The second was the service at the main bar which was both slow and not as friendly as the rest of the hotel. One night we waited 25 minutes to be served and made to feel as though we were the ones being impatient. Thirdly, there is a terrible smell of sewage on the main floor around the bathrooms in the lobby. All in all, we really enjoyed our time at the Palms and I’d definitely recommend it to families young and old.

I had my daughters wedding here and it was five star. I would highly recommend this hotel and venue for a wedding with Staff. The crew about it was just perfect.

The first issue we had with the hotel was the elevators. There was only one elevator working in the front of the hotel. So in order to get to your room you had to ride all the way up and on the way up the doors would open and people would stuff on and so on. The next issue was there was a dirty razor (with hair in it) in the bathroom which indicates to me that the room was not properly cleaned. Lastly, the hallways, and common areas were extremely hot like there was something wrong with the A/C. The only cool areas were in the room and in the restaurant.

Lovely property. I thought valet parking charge was expensive especially as we didn’t know. Resort fee was charged which seemed unfair as we use any of the facilities.

Infrastructure agréable mais tous les services sont payants, sans information préalable, surprise de mauvais goût lors du départ. Dysfonctionnement de la climatisation dans la chambre signalée a 2 reprises avant que quelqu'un ne vienne. Un ascenseur sur les 2 en panne donc des queues pour monter et descendre avec plus de 10 mn d'attente. Décevant dans l'ensemble au vu du prix pratiqué.

Property had a lovey feel about it. An oasis in th city. The room let the hotel down. - fridge that didn’t work - incredibly small bathroom - double beds in such a room are not for sharing, so to advertise as could sleep 4 is a real misrepresentation.

We loved staying here. Excellent service by all of the staff. Good restaurants within walking distance. Great property beautifully landscaped with lots of comfortable, cozy spaces to curl up and relax. Service provided by Tony at the pool bar was 10 stars!!! Also would like to mention Anna (from Rome, Italy) our breakfast server at the restaurant. Would definitely stay again.

Location is great. Too expoensive given noisy renovation work in the restaurant stopped us eating and having breakfast after first day and lifts were incredibly slow with some out of order

Property was well maintained. Staff members were helpful. Pool/beach service were on top of everything. Wish they would have a microwave in the room so we could heat up food because eating out is too expensive.

What a nice treat to be staying at this property. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The vibe is relaxed and you do not feel that you are in an over crowded big chain hotel. It’s a nice revamped 80’s luxury hotel. Only complaint is that I thought the bellman service could be a lot better. When we arrived we had to fetch 3 suitcases up the stairs and into the lobby and the same thing on the way out. Definitely would benefit from some assistance next time! Shout out to the nice restaurant staff that allowed us to use their plates and cutlery when we ordered some Uber Eats to the room! We will definitely be staying here again!!

This was our 2nd stay at The Palms. We have stayed 2/23 & 4/24. It was even better this 2nd time. The staff is friendly and attentive. We especially loved Vanessa & Anna in the dining area as well as the woman in the towel dispensing area. The staff on the beach were excellent as well.

Beautifully landscaped. The hotel calms you down instantly with its vibe. People do take drinks into the pool and eat by it too, so sometimes you will find the odd bread piece floating in the pool- it's on the people who visit, not the hotel staff. The hotel's staff are quite helpful and work to make people feel relaxed. Pros are its ambience, overall cleanliness and greenery. Two big cons- our safe was broken from day one and was never fixed or replaced, nor were we offered a different room despite my repeated complaints. The second issue was that the hotel does not offer tea bags and hot water for tea. I had to pay for teabags to be sent up. Coffee is lovely, but a calming tea would be nice as well. The beach is lovely, staff pleasant, and the ground staff extremely hard working- I think the hotel owes it to these workers- the ones at the beach, the ones serving drinks, the valets, and the ones cleaning- they were wonderful and made the stay very relaxing largely. I cannot say the same for the front desk, and the concierge because I didn't interact a lot and when I did my complaints were brushed off with smiles- when people pay a lot they expect services they pay for. But all other staff were fantastic!
