"During our stay there was a bit of construction which was kind of inconvenient. The hotel is very pretty and the staff are nice. We were having some trouble with getting our luggage up and down due to limited luggage carts. The valet was nice. I do wish the pool had a view but i do like that its indoor."

"Sonesta ES Suites is located next to Galleria. Good location with bars and dining and take-out possibilities close by.
Parking at the premises is for free, which is greated compared to neayby options costing 15-25 USD per day.
I have stayed at The Royal Sonesta several times before (fully booked this time) so I chose Sonesta ES with the expectations of similar standard and service.
But....
Generally it is dated, only one elevator, very noisy aircon, 2 days with no hot water, I have to ask for...
