"Don't be daunted with the fact that there isnt a grocery store or ATM in Gimmelwald! There are 2 bars across the street with pizza and drinks. A quick cable car to Murren for a Food Co-op or cable and bus to Lauterbrunnen for another Co-op which both have all you need is easy!The views, the peaceful quiet is amazing! All one hears are the bells of goats/cows. Love Love this place! comfortabnle, and very clean! Very attentive, manager onsite when we arrived! Highly recommend! "

"Voici un gîte que je recommande. Très pratique, dans une commune avec des commerces et une gare. Les alentours sont magnifiques sans être touchés par le sur-tourisme. Je me suis régalé sur mon vélo ! J'ai été très bien reçu. Le gîte est situé dans un coin très tranquille, au bord d'une route en impasse et très peu fréquentée."

"Der Aufenthalt war die lange Anreise wert. Wir wurden sehr herzlich aufgenommen und der Blick auf die Berge war immer wieder aufs Neue schön. Selten waren wir so entspannt im Urlaub. Interessant war auch der Einblick in den Alltag eines Milchviehbetriebes. Die Abstecher nach Bern und Luzern haben uns auch sehr gut gefallen. Unser Gesamtprädikat: Sehr empfehlenswert. "
