"The hotel is located in Meiringen, which is connected to Interlakhen OST and Luzern by train. Lake Brienz is also pretty close to the property. The room was spacious, had all amenities. Though like many other Intrelaken Hotels, the hotel does not have AC, however, they provided table fan, which is sufficient. Hotel provides a free pass to ride to local cable car and public bus services. "

"Blev modtaget med et stort smil og hurtig indtjekning til et dejligt rent og komfortabelt værelse. Der står kaffe/the/nødder og frugt til fri afbenyttelse hele dagen. Gæster bliver budt på gratis iskaffe og kage hver dag kl. 16.
Restauranten er kåret af Michelin 2018 og den kan varmt anbefales. Maden er rigtig lækker. Værten/kokken går rundt og hyggesnakker ved bordene både om aftenen og til morgenmaden, et hotel hvor man virkelig føler sig hjemme. Varm anbefaling fra mig."
"Views were absolutely phenomenal, don't think there is a single room without a great view. Accommodations are simple, but well executed. Beds were comfy, breakfast (included in my stay) was awesome, and the staff was incredibly knowledgeable and nothing but kind and helpful. Perfect location right below the Allmendhubel. 100% would stay here again. Traveled with a toddler and felt super comfortable."

Simple rooms, but with nice beds - and the most amazing views you could possibly think of!
Reasonably priced and with solid breakfast (including prosecco), perfect before a day's hike.

"We stayed one night only but the moment we got there we felt welcome. Number one quality of this place is the the owners hospitality. Number 2 is the location and the views you have from the rooms. Number 3 the room size, cleanliness and comfort. I prefer to stay in such a place than a big hotel chain. This is far more cozy and family friendly. Breakfast was great as well. No complaints and would stay again. "
"We loved our stay in the small chalet apartment at Hotel Baren! We had an amazing view of the mountains and could hear the bells on the sheep just down the road… and see the bunnies playing just outside our window by Hotel Edelweiss. The free breakfast was AMAZING and we had dinner there, too - also delicious. The staff was very attentive and helpful. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!"
"Wengen is a hidden gem and this property was fabulous! I stayed with my 4 kids on the top level, which was a space with 2 rooms and a loft. We had plenty of sleeping space and magnificent views of the mountains and valley. There are cute shops and fantastic restaurants in Wengen. Hotel Falken offered a nice breakfast, and the staff was welcoming and helpful to us during our stay."

"We had a great stay in your cozy village. The nature here is stunning, can only recomment the place/ hotel to everybody else. Would like to come back again. Once, we visited Zermatt and loved it too....but I'll say, this place here is more beautiful than Zermatt. "

"Really nice hotel with very good service. Fantastic view from the balcony. Very good breakfast and cozy bar to sit in front of the fireplace.
Perfect location to lift to First - just across the street.
Free bus ticket to the area and 10 min with the bus to Terminal to mountain/lift for Männlichen and Eiger.
Like to stay at the hotel again.
