"We had everything we could ever need, all with a personal touch that felt so welcoming and with modern convenience. Many tabletop game options and a well-stocked kitchen and grill, so that you can enjoy being off the grid with a little luxury. The dogs loved their dog blankets and large dog beds and taking in the mountain air with us on the deck. To end our stay, we grabbed some firewood and timber and made ourselves a cozy fire in the fire pit. A truly great stay. "

"Our stay here was outstanding. The house was clean, spacious, and close to many shops/restaurants. Our first evening we spent in downtown Winchester which was an easy drive from the home. The next day was spent at the Virginia Scottish Games, about 35 minutes away. The house was definitely worth the stay! We had a great time. It was even one of the best smelling houses we had ever rented! 100% recommend and would stay again. "

"Aside from food, the place was already stocked with everything you need. Nice comfortable setup. Spent a lot of time hanging out on the deck and enclosed porch just enjoying the view and sounds of nature. Nice and fairly secluded spot but still close enough to venture out and explore what Luray has to offer. We visited Cooter's place (The Dukes of Hazard Museum), The Luray Rescue Zoo, The Luray Caverns and the other attractions they have at the cavernsand found us a fishing spot. Just enjoyed...

"Hosts are responsive and considerate. A cool jug of water and a bottle of wine and snacks were nice surprises on a hot summer day. To be honest it was not the most comfort house we’ve rented. But the property is very well maintained and is made to its best. You could tell how much thought the hosts have put in and it makes you smile noticing those little details. They have the BEST instructions. I hope every rental has that.Wish they had washer and dryer though. We were caught by a heavy shower....
