"My mother and I stayed at Massimino for four nights in the middle of July 2011. The staff was very friendly, the rooms were nice and clean and had aircondition, and an okay breakfast was included. The hotel is located close to Anguillara station where trains depart for Rome every half hour. It takes about 35 minutes to get to Rome and you can buy a ticket that lasts till midnight in a Tabacchi store close to the hotel. FYI the trains from Rome to Anguillara stops departing at 9.30 PM.

The only thing I didn't enjoy was the "breakfast". They put some prepackaged pastries in your room and this just wasn't sufficient for me as a breakfast. Other than that, this place is 11/10. "

"A really nice camping site near Rome. The staff is super service minded especially the lifeguard at the pool which is kept pristine helps with the sunbeds and umbrellas. The driver who drives the shuttle bus is great and talkative and the girls at the reception are very good at giving information about the area. They even hand out timetables for the train.
Keep in mind that IT is a camping site it in a wooded area 10 minutes by shuttle from the nearest station. The train takes about 20 min and...

Friendliness was at the top of the agenda and we know we are spoilt because they understood and spoke perfect English. They gave us a map and knew everything about the area they live in and how to get to and from the city of Rome. "
