"We stayed here last year and had a nice experience so we returned this year. Last year it was much less busy and much more quiet. This year it was almost crowded. That was fine, but the problem was the loud music going to 11pm in the courtyard that our balcony and sliding door opened onto. I wanted to have the door open so we could sleep with fresh air and the sound of the ocean, but with the loud music and then the crowds continuing to party, I had to wait until the middle of the night. "This place surprised me in a very good way! I read reviews and I was a little hesitant about it. I had a wonderful time at Dreams and Secrets. Service was excellent! Happy staff always w a great attitude! Food was great! All restaurants were delicious. All amenities were great. Staff way friendlier than Secrets Akumal for sure! I highly recommend this hotel. I will be coming back for sure. "

"The room was so interesting and beautiful. But the grounds were the best part, the outside areas were serene and well landscaped. My friend and I enjoyed sitting out or enjoying a hammock by the river often. I also enjoyed that there was a small row boat that I could row over to the beach area. We had our first dinner there and it was the most delicious meal of our 14 day trip (the volcano one)."

"My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It is slightly off the beaten path, which made it quiet and enjoyable for us. We walked to the beach and to “downtown” San Poncho every day. The restaurant at the hotel was wonderful we enjoyed amazing fresh fruit and delicious coffee every morning and we had dinner there one night as well, all were 10/10. The staff was lovely and helpful. We would absolutely stay here again. "
