"The house was fantastic. Close to Hunter Mountain Ski Resort and a cute one street town. Peter and Lara had both wood burning stoves going for us when we arrived. The house is wonderful with a fun separate hang out place for the kids. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds. Hot tub with wonderful views. All the firewood you could ever need. "While planning a fly fishing trip on the Beaverkill river, we came across this rental property and it fit the bill perfectly for us. Although the weather didn't cooperate as far as the fishing goes (temps were in the mid to upper 80's), the house remained comfortable inside for sleeping at night. House was as advertised and we enjoyed sitting around the fire down by the river. We saw deer, a bald eagle and various other wildlife. The road into the place was not in great shape but we had a pickup...

The house is really nicely styled, and is very spacious and comfortable - there were 6 of us and a dog and plenty of room for all. Sarah was a super responsive and helpful host. "We travel to the Catskills at least once a year and stay at various locations. What sets this property apart is the true seclusion and absolutely no distractions from the nature around you. Even though it is close to hubs like Wyndham and Hunter (less than 20 to both) when sitting outside it feels like you are in the middle of nowhere. Inside is clean, cosey by the fire, and lots of fun things to do with our teenagers. Definitely would stay again."

"The house was perfect for our family of 7 adults, 10 mo old, 3 yr old and dog. The weather did not cooperate (lots of rain 2 days). But, there was lots of space to spread out inside. Fall colors were beautiful; we took advantage of nearby hiking trails when the weather cleared. The house was very comfortable.
