"I loved the location and the price was very reasonable for the area. The staff were very helpful and even let me check in a couple hours early. You could smell the freshness when you walked into the room and it was well air conditioned. My only complaints are that we had a tough time keeping the refrigerator door closed and it lacked a freezer. Also there was no microwave so you couldn’t reheat a meal and the bathroom could have used some updating. The tub and shower were clean but seemed a bit...

"Air conditioner stopped blowing cold during the night, and was very loud. Water in tub ran brown the first 3 minutes, then finally ran clear. Room was clean, staff did a good job, room just hasn’t been updated in a very long time."

"Room 3. Nothing can be done about the few nats and mosquitoes that snuck into to room before my arrival. Once the pests were done in, my stay in room was very nice. Comfortable bed, soap and towels aplenty, air conditioner was small but cooled off the room with no problem. Room has a rug, did not use TV. Considering the great price and proximity to the Mackinac Island Ferry, highly recommend to the budget traveler"

"Definitely not what the picture shows and not worth the price. Bathroom door would not keep shut or even lock. Small shower (definitely would not fit a tall person). Spider webs around the window and corners of the walls. There were stains on the sheets. At least the view was nice."
