Villaer i Machars of Galloway

"Not fancy, but very clean, in good condition, and very friendly staff, and a good price. All we needed. "

"Stayed here on a visit to Wigtown in late August 2026. Communication was great with multiple emails confirming reservation and instructions. Although there are no staff of duty the instructions on how to get the key were timely and detailed and we had no problems at all getting in and checking out, and we arrived late. The bunkhouse is clean, smelled fresh, and the rooms were nice. We stayed in rooms 1 & 3 and it was lovely. Also very quite! The bathrooms were modern, very clean, and well...

"Amazingly relaxed setup, lovely grounds, fantastic quality room and extras. The wife and I had an absolute blast with our dog for our anniversary. The hot tub was the star of our stay! Could not fault the place, even if we tried. Only tiny downside was a dog poop from a previous visitor had not been cleaned up prior to our check-in, which didn't bother us much as we had to pick our own up anyway lol, but can see how that would be very off-putting to others.Anyway, would definitely recommend this...

"Every thing was great for a quiet me time "

"Cabin was beautiful. Very peaceful setting and hosts just leave you to it. Door was open for us arriving and hot tub was pre-heated. Would definitely recommend."

"Easy to find ,overall everything you could need for a holiday "

"Property was well equipped, comfortable and clean and would highly recommend. Great base for touring this beautiful area."

"Lovely light modern cottage with sea views from the sofa - tranquil location friendly people"

"Excellent facilities. Strong showers was a lovely surprise, as was EV charger facilities. Would have loved a decent mattress, but it is glamping! Odd not to have any human interaction at all, but I get that the model works."
