"The cottage was very clean, comfortable and well stocked. This was a great place to stay while exploring central NS. If you plan to grill, be sure to bring charcoal. The view and the cool ocean breeze made for a relaxing time while sipping on a glass of wine or morning coffee from the deck. We would definitely stay here again."

"We had such a wonderful stay at this cute cottage! The location is absolutely perfect—right by the water. Each night we fell asleep with the windows open, listening to the soothing sound of the waves after enjoying a relaxing soak in the wood-fired hot tub. The onsite staff were lovely and went out of their way to share some of their favorite local spots to visit in Nova Scotia, which made our trip even more special. "The cabin and location is awesome! We loved the salt water hot tub. The first night we added wood and didn’t check the temperature and it was too hot to go in. So we went in the next morning. The cabin needs pot holders but we got away with using a tea towel to pull hot pans out of the oven. Love the view from the cabin of the ocean. And the upstairs view was also so beautiful!!! A problem we had is waiting for a staff meeting to be done to rent the kayaks and bikes. The office was supposed to...

"Very nice, very clean, and pretty fully equipped. Comfy bed and spacious rooms. Great and helpful staff. Kitchen could use a few more dishes and silverware for those who cook and eat on the premises. Overall, I would recommend and would go back!"

"The cottage was comfortable and well set up. We will definitely consider going back: it's a great distance for a weekend getaway from Halifax, and the amenities are nice (that sauna!). The only issue we found (because we went to curl up and read books together!) was that the lighting in the main space was not great: a couple of floor lamps would have been great. "

"Wilson Coastal is a very nice rental. Location is great, right on the water; and the cabins are in great condition, clean and well appointed. Wilson Coastal allows pets, which is great for pet owners; but may be a problem for someone with pet allergies."

"This is a lovely seaside villa. It has everything you need and more! Very clean and tastefully decorated. It was nice to take the 3 min walk to the wharf. Very well situated to visit the area but away from the business of Halifax. Highly recommend"
