"Peaceful, quiet. I like how a guest service team member came to check in with me abiut a half hour after I git settled in, wanting to know if there was anything I needed. And they also built my fire for me in the fire pit, so I would have no trouble getting it going. It's those little niceties that make me feel very much at home. And allows me to truly relax. I love it there! "

What a perfect set up the cottage is for a family or even two separate families or several couples. The cottage is so tastefully and creatively decorated and well equipped with everything you need. "The cottage was comfortable and well set up. We will definitely consider going back: it's a great distance for a weekend getaway from Halifax, and the amenities are nice (that sauna!). The only issue we found (because we went to curl up and read books together!) was that the lighting in the main space was not great: a couple of floor lamps would have been great. "
