We booked through hotels.com and received confirmation on a large Room with a kingsize bed. When we arrived there was a small Room and a small Queen size bed. We requested to change rooms and it was not handled well by the staff. The location is very good, the quality of the rooms generally ok. The breakfast selection is not impressive.

Very good value for money
A very good value for money 5 star hotel. Not "The Ritz", but very reasonable priced. Rooms are large, almost enourmous by normal London standard. To be recommended!

Super beliggenhed, ikke nedslidt, ikke "blomstret"
Beliggenhed helt i top, fin service. Interiør, værelser mv. var ikke nedslidt i modsætning til, hvad man ofte kan blive konfronteret med i London uanset, at hotellet er 4 eller 5-stjernet. Derudover var antallet af forskelligt-blomstrede tapeter, gulvtæpper, sengetæpper, møbler osv - der får det hele til at ligne en marskandiser-forretning i havsnød - meget begrænset.

Everything is super good here...!
We can only recommend The Bently Hotel, service is really super and the staff makes a different, like "they want to be the best". The area is good with lots of cafes and places to dine. We will be coming back to this place.

...men husk at gøre personalet opmærksom på det, hvis du allerede har betalt for internet adgang, som ellers er meget dyr, og for morgenmad, der er ikke helt styr på dette. Alt ialt en positiv oplevelse, men af fejl/mangler kan nævnes, at der mangler strygejern og -bord på værelserne, samt at fitness lokalet er meget lille. Lidt besvær med at printe boarding-kort ud fra computeren i hall'en. Venligt personale.

Parking is at the nearby Millennium Casino Hotel. It presents well, especially if you like red velvet, gilding and marble!

Hotel was lovely and staff great on check in and stay, service was hugely let down by the breakfast which was cold and inedible as been left in a hot box for to long (the heater the box had then gone off) waitress didn’t seem to care or know what to do. When we asked if there was fresh food we’re eventually bought 4 rashers of bacon despite sending away plates with a full English untouched. Had better breakfast in a Travel lodge. The manager very apologetic afterwards but doubt we will stay there again.

This was a lovely hotel to stay at. We chose this because it was convenient for the Royal Albert hall and surrounding areas. This stay was for my birthday and the hotel gave us complimentary macaroons and drinks which was a nice touch . Staff very helpful and friendly. Good that we could store our luggage before and after check in . Loved the jacuzzi bath!

Nice old-style hotel, aging, but comfortable. We got nice upgrade, room quite big. No Swimmingpool - Sauna never called back... Nice area!!!

This is our 3rd stay at The Bentley, we love the location. Some of the rooms could use a bit of updating, but otherwise the hotel is fantastic

It’s not a 5star hotel at all First night tv was not working we were told next morning they will change our room so next morning we packed everything went to reception to change the room while same morning there was plumbing issue with bath tub.they never change our room on breakfast in morning not enough staff u have to Waite too long for even a plan glass of water

Excellent experience but wifi needs to be upgraded
Excellent hotel, conveniently located, comfortable, clean, with very good service. The only downside is that the wifi is very poor which can be an issue if you need to download files or pictures for professional reasons.

What a complete and utter disappointment!! 5* i don't think so this is a historic rating and is not current at all. Rooms were absolutely tired and in desperate need of a refurbishment, staff were very rude and unwelcoming. We were told the hotel was at maximum capacity and we saw 1 person during our 2 night stay so this is not true at all. We demanded the room change and said it was the new room or nothing, as it was our 25th wedding anniversary we reluctantly took the room change it was better but way off being acceptable. All in all i would recommend that the Bentley hotel is one to stay away from unlike the old days when it was simply beautiful. Terrible experience and ruined our 25th wedding anniversary completely. We both have had to visit our doctors with tight chests and he advised more than likely dust allergies. AWFUL!!!!!

Don't stay here
They gave us a queen-size bed when I specifically reserved a king size. When they moved us to a room with a king size bed, it was a smoking room. Someone had smoked in the room recently and it smelled badly of cigarette smoke. There was an ashtray in the room. The central AC did not work, so there was a very large and noisy portable AC machine in the room, with lots of bright lights to keep you awake in the night. You had to keep the window open for the AC vent. The amenities had been used and not refreshed. Yuck. This hotel is beautiful but needs significant updating.

There seems to be a problem with this property inot comparable with the stars given to this property . When my guest arrived , the AC was not working. They provided her with fans which did not work as it was too hot. My guest provided them with a £100 deposit at check in They claimed she did not and refused to give it back , although it is their policy to get the amount from the guest before handing the room key. There is not much choice good wise and the little they have is well overpriced. .Overall very disappointing. Will not book again.

I am extremely sorry to hear that your stay has not been pleasant.We do apologise in regards with the AC problem, which we were working to sort it out at the time.However regarding the 100 deposit we usullaly take for the incidentals as when you book through Expedia we do not have any of your card details, and we do require a deposit of 50 or 100 depends how long is the stay.We haven't taken a deposit on the card or cash.If the guest give us cash deposit, we do provide the guest with a receipt.However, we have also investigated and there was no cash deposit or card deposit given from her side.We would like to sincerely apologise once again for any unpleasant experience.We really hope that you will give as a chance to welcome you back in the near future. Very mediocre property. Overrated and overpriced. Nothing even remotely close to a 5-star hotel as listed on Expedia. Those rating criteria are highly questionable. The room was listed as having 3 person sleeping capability. In reality l, its only for 3. The staff offered me to purchase a folding bed instead, but said that housekeeping was gone for the day to help with that. Second, AC was barely working And I had to keep the windows open. Third, there was a construction next doot and it was quite noisy with construction noise plus loud music from the workers. They should have posted a warning about it. Overall, very underwhelming and misleading.

good property for easy stays in london, i can see it was 5 stars previously! Now more of a 3/4.. The only thing I’d say is that it’s quite behind in style, everything’s really old and there’s a lot of marks on the hotel room walls, also a lot of dust. The shower only goes from a 20 degree setting upwards to 80!! Not sure how that’s aloud, it nearly scolded me. This is what I’d say to the people who own it.. do it up when possible because it does have potential in the fact it’s aesthetically beautiful, it just needs work. Especially the shower situation and certain taps that are loose. Thankyou x
