We're not coming back
Friendly but extremely perfunctory check in, we had booked two nights in a deluxe room for which we paid £593.00 which was below street level. and with a king size bed, but the king standard in the UK is obviously not the same as in the rest of the world, the width was about 165 maybe 170 cm in width, we tried to talk to them at the reception, but they were probably not solution oriented!

Rigtig fine og rummelige værelser. Personalet var virkelig søde og servicemindede. Hotellet ligger i et trygt område tæt på indkøbsmuligheder og offentlig transport.

Rigtig fint hotel og venligt personale. Fine rene værelser, dog var det ikke mulogt at åbne vinduet...som var nok den eneste minus.

The staff at check-in were incredibly efficient and accommodating. They got us into our room early and since our room was a little tricky to find they showed us how to get there. They had even already taken our luggage to our room ahead of us. The first evening there was a plate of fresh fruit when we got back to our room and the mini-fridge always had two bottles of complementary water. I would absolutely stay here again.

This was BY FAR one of the ABSOLUTE BEST hotel experiences we have EVER had!! My friend and I have traveled together for over 30 years and have never experienced anything quite like this. The moment we got out of our car, our bags were magically swept away into the lobby. We felt like ALL the employees were tripping over each other trying to make us happy. We were treated like celebrities from the second we got there. The breakfast and high tea were AMAZING and my favorite part was my server, Sadman. I have a LOT of food allergies and he made sure I could not only eat, but eat VERY well for my entire stay. PLEASE GIVE THAT MAN A RAISE!! The bar downstairs is someplace I would travel far, to experience again!! We can’t wait to come back!!

100 queens gate hotel is quintessential of London. The architecture of the property to the interior is very well thought out. The staff is unbelievably friendly and, accommodating. The bed mattress could’ve been better, it felt hard.

I am a Hilton Honors member so I have come to expect exceptional service from Hilton and Hilton affiliates. My stay at this hotel was exactly what I had hoped it would be. The staff are professional as expected but what was above and beyond the usual experience is how warm and welcoming they were. I was greeted outside by a bellhop who assisted me from my black car with my luggage. The property is fabulous outside, and stands out in the elegant neighborhood of South Kensington. Inside is beautifully outfitted and pristine with updated amenities. The rooms are quite small but clean and well equipped with basic needs. The kettles are clean. The beds are comfortable. There are no microwaves. The menu is simple and the food and food service staff are helpful. Their tearoom, Botanica, is beautiful. The tea service is very affordable (under 50 GBP without champagne) in comparison to other hotels/tea rooms in the area. They do hold an incidental charge on your card (50 GBP/night) which is standard. Charges to your room are deducted from this hold and you are returned the difference after checking out. South Kensington is considered 'posh' and for good reason. There are countless highly rated restaurants and bakeries within walking distance. The Natural History Museum is a very short distance away (book your ticket online to avoid lines). This is where I will be staying when I return to London.

CON’s: Very tiny and small bathrooms. The double room may be okay for a single occupancy for one night, but definitely not for a X-mas holiday (1 week) for two people and respective luggage. Far too small and poorly lit. Breakfast buffet below canteen level and the hot beverages had a poor quality too. After having tried the breakfast buffet the first morning, we decided to have breakfast elsewhere. PRO’s: Excellent location conveniently located in South Kensington Museum district. There are cafes, restaurant, shops, tube and Kensington Gardens nearby at walking distance.. At night the hotel area is quiet, being South Kensington Queensgate a posh residential area. Hotel staff was very kind.

We were surprised to find the room had no window. It felt a little cell like. The standard of the room however was fine. The bathroom extras such as soap had not been replenished. However, the staff were friendly. The hotel bar was very smart and the breakfast was delicious. Perfect location for the Royal Albert Hall.

Stayed 1 night. Have stayed before. Very friendly check-in and room was good (deluxe queen) and quiet (on 5th floor). Breakfast was very busy and staff struggled to keep everything available during the peak time. Good location, close to Hyde Park, museums, lots of dining options.

Otel çok merkezi ve iyi bir bölgede, her yere yürüyüş mesafesi. Londra merkez genelinde olduğu gibi odalar gerçekten küçük, 2 kişi kalınacaksa Deluxe oda tercih edilmeli. Superior ve Cozy odalar kısa süreli seyahat veya tek kişi için daha uygun. Son derece temiz, bakımlı, odalarda konfor için herşey düşünülmüş. Çok memnun ayrıldık.

Not a 5 star property. The location is excellent however everything else lacks lustre. The beds are extremely uncomfortable claiming to all be memory foam however these beds are not, this is the most uncomfortable bed I have ever experienced in a hotel let alone a 5 star hotel, pillows are clumpy and the up keep of the room is not 5 star. Tiles broken in the bathroom, shower head broken , bar fridge cabinet broken.

I was given the different room, which had practically no window, hardly a queen size bed (instead of promised king size one). Breakfast was limited, worse than in a 3 star hotel. During the check in I my card was charged 200 GBP for "deposit". During check out, they told me that unused deposit will be released, but nothing was deposited back to my card!
