Very convenient location bang in the middle of Alfama, directly on the Tram route, watch out as you step out the front door ! Loads of interesting historic stuff all around, great area. The lady who checked us in was especially helpful.

Loved everything about this stay. It was exactly as advertised. Tv does not have access to apps and THEIR basic cable. The staff were absolutely friendly and helpful❣️. Rooms are clean and well situated. Tram 28 rides directly in from for pickup. The coffee shop next door is an absolute gem❣️ washateria close enough 👍👍

Topp sted!
Dette var rett og slett et fantastisk opphold på et flott leilighetshotell <3 nydelig beliggenhet i gamlebyen, trikk 28 rett utenfor døren, gangavstand til flere fine attraksjoner. Rent og godt utstyrt. Litt lyd fra kjøleskap og toalett, men det var mindre viktig. Vennlig og hjelpsomt personell.

Our concierge Isabela was gracious and very helpful. She even loaned us beach umbrellas for several day trips to the beaches nearby. The room was very large and very clean. The neighborhood was wonderful and interesting.

What a wonderful stay! The suite we stayed in was very clean, the backyard was beautiful, and the staff were very accommodating. Great location. I would definitely come back!

We were delighted with our stay at this hotel. Our apartment was spacious, comfortable and quiet. The staff were super helpful. The location is great for exploring Alfama and is right on the Trolley line. Great breakfast buffet there and a wonderful bakery/restaurant just about next door. Good dining options and much to explore nearby.

This was our second stay after a few days in Porto on our way home. Great staff and location. The fridge in our room didn’t work but not really a problem as we were only there 2 nights.

This was an amazing property! It was in the heart of the Alfama neighborhood in Lisbon. The famous Tram #28 ran right in front of the property. The tram stop was footsteps away. Restaurants, cafes and little shops abound in this area. The apartment itself was large with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It was clean and well-equipped. I highly recommend this property and would love to stay there again!

The staff was wonderful. The room was a little funky because of the sloped ceiling. The front door to the hotel was heavy and hard to open.

Great place bc of location and staff
First time to Lisbon so obviously I was blown away by this incredible neighborhood. This hotel is perfect for the Alfama neighborhood. I find most Portuguese very professional but not exactly friendly. The staff at this hotel could not have been kinder, including the hostess who literally talked on her own phone to a lost Uber driver for 45 minutes to take me to the airport. So also learn from that: go early to the airport. It’s third-world in most descriptions.

Rip off! False advertising!
Firstly, it’s false advertised as being a 3 stars hotel, as per the establishment’s manager (Alexandra) this is NOT a 3 stars hotel so they don’t have to offer the minimum of service that 3 star hotels have to offer. We paid for a twin room, for 2 nights, at a falsely advertised 3 stars hotel. As per the pictures I took, the walls were mouldy and the room was very damp. The shower drain was clogged so we couldn’t have a proper shower. When I informed the reception, the receptionist, Isabel (the brunette) moved us to an apartment to stay overnight as a temporary solution, and I thank her for that, she is the only reasonable person with a sense of what hospitality industry means. The next morning the other receptionist - Isabella (the blonde) made a big fuss saying that the room is perfectly fine and that the shower has been fixed and that we should immediately move our bags at 8:30 am. She also made it clear that I should be thankful that I got to stay for free in one of the apartments, which wasn’t for free, because I paid for a clean functional room, which I didn’t get to start with. Isabella’s attitude was even worse than the state of the room. She happily ruined our day. It was useless for me to complain about the poor conditions of the room, to her and also her manager (Alexandra) because their attitude was awful, extremely rude. We ended up paying an extra 48 euros to switch for another room with a functional shower and we still couldn’t check in straight away.

As you rightly said, after you reported the problem to one of our colleagues, the best solution at the time was to move you to an apartment.The very next morning, the shower problem was solved, and our other colleague informed you that it would be possible to return to the room you were in. We regret that the interaction you had with our receptionist was not to your liking. However, we would like to point out that the colleague only had this attitude toward you, because you were actually very rude.Our staff are not useless or unwilling to deal with guests' requests, as you said. We all do our best to accommodate our customers' requests and resolve any problems that may arise, with the best of intentions and sympathy. And these qualities should come from both sides - customer and employeesAs for having paid for the apartment, the first night was not paid for, we upgraded it free of charge because your room did have a problem. However, on the following day, the problem had already been resolved, so there was no reason for you to want to stay in the apartment. So it stands to reason that you only had to pay for the upgrade for the following nights because you refused to go back to the standard room.In any case, we're sorry again that your stay wasn't the best, and we apologize for any misunderstandings.Kind regards,Alfama Lisbon Lounge Suites

Worth a stay!
Great guesthouse in a perfect location. The tram runs right by, so if you're a light sleeper it might keep you up. I'm a light sleeper, but had no problem sleeping. There's a great coffees shop next door if you prefer not to have the breakfast at the hotel.

Outstanding location, Alfama is the top neighborhood to experience Lisbon downtown. The tram is passing by on the same street, it might seem noisy but somehow it did not feel that way. We would stay there again.
