The best things about this hotel are that it’s non-smoking, including in the casino. A relief from most of the others on the strip, & it’s the main reason I chose to stay here. It’s also connected to the Eataly for great Italian food, a large Starbucks (with limited seating), & it’s near great shopping. On the other hand, my bathroom was updated, but the rest of my room wasn’t. It was very dated with a dreary, olive-drab color to it & old fixtures. Plus, no fridge or microwave, but you could rent a fridge. On a side note, it appeared that the entire hotel, from the outside, had this same color. I’m sure some people liked the look, but it wasn’t for me. Continuing with my room, maybe they were trying to keep some of the old feel to it, but some brighter colors & modern fixtures are in order. And the hallways on my floor were poorly lit & the carpet lining them was also dark & dingy & also could use a brighter look. With that said, if you’re undecided about staying here, you should make a reservation & give it a chance. At least you’ll be able to breathe & you may get a better room than I had. And, olive-drab may be your favorite color.
