Check-in process could have been a little better. We arrived at 2:30PM, but weren't allowed to actually go in to the room until 3PM. I was told it wasn't under MGM management since I booked through Expedia, so I had to reach out to the owner of this particular suite. I didn't want to go through the hassle since it was only 30 minutes, so I just waited. The room itself was great. Full kitchen with utensils and cookware. Living room with a sofa bed and full restroom with a shower near the kitchen area for my 2 daughters. My wife and I had a completely separate bedroom and another restroom with shower and jacuzzi tub. Perfect for my small family of 4. We had reservations for July 6th - 9th. On the morning of the 8th while we were getting ready to make our way down to the lazy river (around 9AM) our power went out. When my wife called the Front Desk, we were told that the owner probably didn't pay their light bill since they hadn't received any calls on that floor. We were told we had to reach out to the host since the room was not under MGM management. It is almost impossible to find a contact number and navigating through the Expedia contact number is brutal. Long story short, I was on the line for over 90 minutes with Expedia to find me another suite, but unfortunately it was smaller. No separate bedroom. My wife and I spent another 90+minutes packing all our belongings and moving them to our new room, all while we left our daughters at the lazy river. Brutal experience.
