Thongbay is a very beautiful and cosy place in Luang Prabang. We enjoyed everything about it; the view from our terrasse, the garden, getting breakfast served on your own balcony and most of all the smiling service from everybody at the guest house. Please notice, that Thongbay is outside Luang Prabang city center. They do have shuttle service and it's easy to go back and forth, but if you prefer the convenience of staying in the center of town, You have to choose otherwise. Only one little...

Everything was way above expectations. Amazing service. Free shuttle almost like taxi. Resort isn't far away though but you can whatsapp them your location within city and they literally come pick you up free of charge. They smile and do deliver great service.

This hotel is amazing. The staff is great, service is top, good amenities, and good breakfast. The only thing is it’s a bit further from the city, but I enjoyed walking everyday, and we also had a motorbike to go around. The hotel offers shuttle to town too, multiple times per day, but we didn’t use it. Surroundings are stunning, and I watched the sunset from the river next to the hotel. Would book this next time, if/when I go to Luang Prabang again. 10/10.

Fantastic new and modern hotel with all facilities in order. The gym was great. The restaurants have great food (except for the desserts, which were beautiful but tasteless). The pool area is nice - and the drinks are great. The staff all around the hotel are friendly and very serviceminded. Rooms are comfortable, large and clean.

Det skønneste sted, vi havde 4 fantastiske dage. Alt fungerede så godt, det sødeste personale, og et fint og velholdt resort med en så fin have og direkte ved Mekongfloden. Vi blev opgraderet til Villa med riverview - dejligt stort rum, godt opdelt med værelse, bad og toilet, super seng og de bedste puder på hele turen. The most beautifull hotel we ever stayed in. Very nice colonial style with a tranquillo atmosphere. Not the best location in town. Locatedon the outskirt of the town. The hotel provided free bikes to get around. Only 5 minutes on bike to the citycenter. Staff seemed to be a little shy or nervous, but very helpfull and serviceminded. We will definitely choose Satri House next time we visit Luang Prabang

This hotel is above and beyond. Without a doubt the friendliest staff and the grounds are so tranquil. We will definitely be back.

12 k outside Luang Prabang up a few dusty hill roads nesteled in a green slope lies Hillside Nature Resort. And what a gem this is. Cosy cabins and a very nice restaurant with great local food and more. Add to that a laidback and relaxed atmosphere and you have the perfect settings for some days in a quiet hill retreat.
