"Accommodation clean and tidy. Keys a little hard to find at the beginning for entry as there are many 'front porches'. In a nice area with mountain views and easy access to Whinlatter and Keswick and surrounding area."

"Loved the secluded location within walking distance of the southern end of Lake Windmere. The cottage was smart and very clean, and well equipped, but we were stumpted on how to adjust the settings on the upmarket oven (a manual in kitchen drawer would have helped). We found that we had to be vigilant about the step in dark slate floor between bedrooms and kitchen/lounge (we used a bit of white cardboard to visually remind ourselves.) Had a great stay at The Bothy, we highly recommend it "

"This is an excellent house in superb state of repair with very good quality furniture. It is very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The booking process was simple and Martin Wardle of the agents was extremely helpful. The house is situated in a village which is very near Kendal, the lakes and just over one hour to the Solway coast. There are some very good dining places in the area with our favourite being The Watermill Inn which has its own micro brewery producing very tasty beers. All in all...

"Wonderful few days away in Coleridge Cottage. Location was perfect with parking just a short walk away. I didn’t use the car once while here. An abundance of walks right from the doorstep. Although the property is on a main road into Keswick it was so quiet and peaceful. Just a five minute stroll into town centre. Everything about the property was excellent except that with one shower and toilet upstairs and one toilet downstairs, it might have been a bit difficult with a family or group...

"Keswick Cottages were really good to deal with, responsive and helpful. From the minute we opened the door to The Ridgeway it felt so welcoming, it was warm and smelt so clean and fresh! The rooms were spacious and comfortable, as was the bed! There was everything you could possibly need in the kitchen and the doggy welcome pack was much appreciated by Wilf! Location was absolutely superb, we will definitely be booking to stay again!"
