"Got to hotel several hours early and they ended up upgrading our room and also got to check in at that time as well. Everyone was very nice and helpful. We slept in a king bed, bed was plenty comfy. Recommend bringing your own shampoo and conditioner and body wash because what they have doesn’t smell great and is not that good. Water pressure in shower is not very hard as well but with a little extra time it got the job done. Other than that enjoyed the stay and would stay again. "

"Great location to spend time at the beach (5 min walk), visit nearby colleges, and eat at a variety of restaurants in La Jolla. Friendly and helpful staff, especially Lindsay. Towels are clean but not as white as other Hotels; so if bleached white towels are important to you then this is not the place for you. Standard complimentary hot breakfast. Husband was disappointed that they did not have hot Oatmeal, just instant Oatmeal. Overall we were happy at this hotel. "
