Hoteller nær La Jolla Shores Park

"Ugh. We stayed two days for a wedding at La Valencia and booked a suite. We are SD natives and my husband grew up in LA Jolla. It was located a bit away from the front desk and up a steep portion of a hill with stairs. Tough to navigate in a gown and heels and a workout with all our bags to get to valet when leaving. Be sure to plan some time for the valet to get your car. The room is VERY dated and the layout needs to be better thought out. Wear socks on the carpet! Our neighbors room service...

"Great stay"

"Wonderful staff. Good food and clean rooms."

"Grace was amazing! She helped so much and was so sweet!! Can’t wait to go back and stay there again!"

"The location is great and the room was clean. Unfortunately they were doing construction on the morning of our last day and we couldn’t get to the beach as easily and it was noisy and crowed with workers"

"La Jolla is a great place. Nice and friendly Hotel. We’ll stay there again."

"There were several negative experiences that made the stay overall not great. For starters our room did not have hooks for towels and the inside of one of our robes was covered in some dark brown stains. Additionally the staff was very curt and not courteous in general. Finally, at one point we were out by the pool when a man at the restaurant above began yelling obscenities down at us for about 5 minutes until we called into the front desk. We didn’t receive as much as an apology for this. I...

"Staff were ambivalent and not helpful. Cleanliness was an issue. Location is wonderful. Odd fees that do not make any sense!!"

"Staff balcony 5 star All the way"

"Good rooms to stay for the night tho a few stains in the bed itself but I don’t really mind at all since they gave us clean sheets and towels to use so it was good I don’t mind anything else as long as it wasn’t excessive so it was okk and the admenities where good not to many ppl using showers too so I woudk stay here again near the beach too and nice community space as well love it"

"Clean room, helpful staff, best location for beach fun in Del Mar"

"Restaurant inside hotel was horrible don’t even try it"

"The view The vib when you enter the reception The fireplace in the room The huttub"

"Nice hotel. Large room. Very friendly staff. We didn't get to try the pool as weather wasn't good enough. Breakfast was okay - slight problem with free spaces but we managed. Only thing a bit annoying is eating from plasticware - but thats aparently normal around hotels in the US."
