"Hver gang jeg skal til Chania bor jeg altid på det her hotel. Det er et ældre hotel, men det er simpelthen så lækkert, perfekt lokation, og servicen er i top. "

"We stayed in a premium suite with ocean view balcony. The pools and buildings are very nice, and the staff are plentiful and helpful. But the resort is isolated, and the resort seems to discourage guests from leaving. The "concierge" seemed completely unprepared to help. She could not recommend any restaurants in town, or recommend any tours. She could not help with public transportation or private car service. Our best help came from taxi drivers. They promoted a "movie night", but would not tell us what the movie would be until that day! Most of the guests appear to be older couples and their adult children, who just plan to lay on the beach and eat. The "gym" facility was a joke. A small room totally out of scale to the resort. The slate floor in our room was filthy. Every time we walked on it in bare feet, our feet became black. The private beach area attracts plastic waste. The sand was covered in plastic trash and plastic was floating in the water. This is a general problem in the Meditteranean today. Meals were very expensive. The lunch buffet was 41 euro per person. In addition, I arrived to lunch wearing a t-shirt and swimsuit, and was asked to go back to my room and change into shorts. They had no problem with the young woman wearing a thong and mesh cover up. I expect more for what we paid, at what was presented as a luxury resort."

"Everything was absolutely fantastic during our stay of 9 nights. The staff were very serviceminded, smiling and professional. The resort was very clean, the pools kept in mint condition and the surroundsings green and blooming. Expecially the food at Rodies was very nice and had plenty to choose from on the menu. The free shuttle service to the lovely beach club was a nice supplement to the whole experience. I give my highest recommendation to families, couples or singles who are looking for a special treat. Thank you for a wonderful stay and great memories for my kids, parents and I."
